The high school championship at US Bank Stadium was awesome.
The stadium was beyond unprepared for this event. One gate open to let thousands of people in. Got there early yet still missed half of the first quarter standing in line to get in. The home team didn’t even have their own concessions - two small concession stations open on the visitors side. One of the employees said they expected 300 people only … there was astronomically more people than that at the sections game, why would they expect less at the championship game? The amount of time spent waiting in lines was completely unreasonable. In addition to that, there was a group of children who didn’t get the cashless memo and the person working made the entire line I was in sit there and wait for their parents to come with a card (from the home team on the opposite side of the stadium) instead of having them step aside so the 30+ people waiting in line could advance in the line. They ran out of items. It was just insane how unprepared they were for the championship game of the biggest / most populated conference.
What, no place to buy a ticket at the venue. Ticket Master cluttered with pop up ads interfering with getting a ticket. Disappointed.
Great time a great, well run event. And the best teams won.
0-4 on visits to US Bank Stadium. This time we weren’t let in to our seats until halfway through the 1st quarter. The other teams fans were seated early and ready to go cheering for their high school, while we waited in line for close to an hour without an explanation. Previous visits to US Bank Stadium include below zero weather with two young children and the light rail never showed up. A fan helped to her set by an usher because she was too drunk to walk, then she proceeded to vomit all over the place. Also, there was the time it took 90 minutes to exit the stadium ramp.
There is nothing positive to leave from purchasing the tickets, to arriving to the stadium, to attending the event. The tickets purchased through ticket master didn't work and we had to purchase new ones at the gate, to tickets not working at the gate and having to have the new tickets reset multiple times. Security was a joke and had no clue on how to get people seated. We weren't able to watch the game until after the first quarter which makes the value a ripoff.
We arrived 45 minutes ahead of the game start time to find a very long line that did not move for a full hour. The game started at 7pm and we were not admitted into our seats until almost the end of the 1st quarter. Pretty disappointing.
We attended MSHSL football Saturday the 18th. We reserved parking ($34!) for what appeared in the picture to be under the stadium. When we couldn’t find the ramp (because use there was no address on the virtual ticket nor on the ParkWhiz website nor anywhere else we searched!) we finally parked in an open lit for $15. Ironically, that lot was across the street from a ramp marked US Stadium ramp, but the sign said $15. Really? So we paid $34 for nothing & still paid another $15 to park. Never again!
It was a great experience and the staff was awesome! There should be more time between games to allow fans to exit the assigned section seating area before the new group of fans move into the assigned sections.
Love going to Stadium Such a rush should be spread over 3 days
Signing up for tickets, for someone like me who isn’t ‘techie savvy’, took a very long time. Was ready to throw in the towel, but finally got it. Our trip to U S Bank Stadium was a new experience for my husband and myself! Didn’t know that concessions were credit card only, and our cards were locked on the bus; so not able to buy treats. Beautiful facility with congenial and helpful personnel.
Hard to find game via search, ease of dispersing tickets could be improved. User friendliness for elderly fans also could be better
First off, ticketmaster was a terrible experience! The game was great.
First of all, going through ticketmaster is not a good experience! The game was great.
Boring except for the actual games. Not a fun atmosphere (music or even put some microphones next to the bands to amplify music) US Bank appears to large of a venue especially without the sound system not being used
Everything was great with the tickets for the event, but I also decided to purchase parking so we wouldn’t have to worry about that. I paid $34.00 ahead of time. Purchasing parking a head of time did not guarantee that I even got a parking spot in that lot and upon leaving scanning the barcode that showed I had already paid did not work, the machine would not accept it. Icing on the cake was parking there and paying the day of cost $10.00. Absolutely no benefit to pay for parking ahead of time.
I purchased tickets for the Minnesota State High School League State Football championship games for November 30th. The Ticketmaster app was easy to maneuver and to purchase through. However the day of the tournament there was a winter snow storm in Minnesota and we could not travel to the game. I was disappointed that there was not an allowance made for inclement weather to sell the tickets back. So I had to eat the $64 cost of the 4 tickets I purchased. Perhaps consider something like this in the future in winter weather states. ~ Thank you.
Food was over priced, seats were good, good parking, we struggled figuring out how to use our phone for a ticket but my wife figured it out.
I was at U.S. Bank Stadium for the 1st time last Saturday for the high school football game. The whole expierence was Great! I look forward to coming back on the 30th.
The way Ticketmaster does the tickets is not very handy. When it goes into your wallet there’s no bar code. It was a huge problem when we got to the stadium, very disappointed. My daughter is tech savvy and the guy scanning tickets was helpful and patient thankfully
