We love this show and go every year. So glad it is back after a year away. The theatre is beautiful! The show is perfect for kids and adults of all ages. We love The Nutracker and the Milwaukee Ballet!
The talent, the dancing was excellent. Enjoyed it very much.
I took my mom to see The Nutcracker. She had never been to a ballet and this was a great intro for her. We enjoyed it so much we are talking about making it a yearly thing and bringing the grandchildren next time.
When i bought the tickets to the nutcracker , covid protocols werent mentioned. I didnt receive the protocols till 3 days before via email and i dont check my emails frequently due to work schedules. Arrived on-time to the show but unfortunately we had to be fully vaccinated. Total waste of time and Money .
The Nutcracker put on by the Milwaukee Ballet, was absolutely wonderful! It was my first time seeing the Nutcracker ever. The dancers were very impressive and so was the orchestra. I highly recommend going to see this performance!
I hated the masks. I hated the restrictions about entering the building. I hated having to wait outside to be checked. With all the restrictions, I hated that we were still packed in like sardines. Social distancing? I did not like the choice of the Nutcracker performance.
It was fantastic! I haven’t seen the nutcracker since I was a child so this took me down memory lane. I would definitely recommend others go see it too!
I have always wanted To go to the ballet and really never had the chance It was so beautiful and the Dancers dance so elegantly I will sure attend another one I’m looking forward to attending the beauty and the beast in May
All three pieces were genius. All very different, but the vitality of each was so delightful. I absolutely loved that there was such variety. I wanted to get back to watch it again the weekend, but my schedule wouldn’t allow.
So very Entertaining! The dancing was spectacular. Loved it!
We were sitting in the second row behind the orchestra. I am so frustrated because we could not see the ballet dancers feet! My whole point in seeing the nutcracker is to actually be able to see the ballet dancers on point! All we could see were their knees on up! I even had an extra ticket for the Left side Luge and all I wanted to do was to run up there during the entire ballet. That is a wasted $350! Why are these even considered to be seats to see the ballet? I am a professional musician, and director and music teacher. This is a very sad review that I am giving my students!
My first Milwaukee Ballet was the Nutcracker at the Pabst Theater, only previous Ballet was in St. Petersburg, Russia. The production of the Nutcracker was fantastic, the music, dancing, and the costumes......Completely enjoyed the experience. I vowed to attend another Ballet in Milwaukee.
The Nutcracker was fantastic, I have not seen it for a few years but it’s always a treasure to see it again. I brought my friend who have never seen the Nutcracker ballet she loved it!
We recently attended a very nice perofrmance of The Nutcracker by Yhe Milwaukee Ballet. It was was a well done version by very able dancers, some of whom truly shined at times. I am pleased to here that the Company is actively raising funds to move forward with a new updated version as imagined by director Michael Pink. He has done great things for ballet in the city andbmay be able to freshen up this production to earn it 5 stars.

I’m fan of Thajkowsky and listen to his music a lot. I like watching Russian ballets because they are the best. I was impressed by the level of this performance. I will definitely visit again
I haven't seen the Nutcracker ballet since I first went to see it in the 1980s. I decided this year to "Secret Santa" myself with a gift to the performance. I have a free place to park for all events at the Marcus Center so that is not an issue for me. I arrived early enough to try one of the special beverages before the show. I shared a table with a stranger and, it turns out, we know the same people. So maybe not so much a stranger. I took a photo before the show with the #MKEBALLET and posted it on social media (fingers crossed for free tickets!). It was finally time to go in and catch the performance. And what a great performance it was! The staging was incredible. I felt I was in the drawing-room with all the other guests. The kids teasing each other, the grown-ups dancing. The gifts! I really loved the comic aspects interspersed throughout the performance. I told the man sitting next to me that I wanted some of that glitter Drosselmeyer was sprinkling on the children. The dancing was truly impressive. So athletic and still romantic! And the kids did such a good job, too. I loved how we made sure they were appreciated. I'm not familiar with the Milwaukee Ballet adult dancers. I think that one of my goals for the New Year is to get myself to more performances, especially if they're all this good and this fun.
They did a fantastic job. The music was great. Everyone on stage made it magical.
I took my wife to the Nutcracker for her birthday. It was spectacular. What a joy to see a non-stop smile on her face from the first scene to the last. My wife used to be a ballerina and taught dance. If she enjoyed it it had to be good!
