The musical focuses on these newcomers before they became icons, gathered for a rare collaboration at Sun Studios in Memphis. FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
“This was an excellent presentation - fun, upbeat, completely a blast! The cast was full of excitement. I laughed and sang along the whole time, and I ended up on my feet with the rest of the audience, clapping and dancing. If you want a fun and lighthearted night out, go see Million Dollar Quartet!”
“This was a fantastic show! The music, the stage, the acting — all were wonderful! I wasn't bored once and all of the actors were awesome!”
“I thoroughly enjoyed the performance. It was a great story played out extremely well by the cast. The performers were great in their roles and some of them were truly outstanding musical talents. We had an enjoyable evening and would recommend this show to everyone.”
We loved the show! All the actors were fantastic and put on a wonderful show while telling a story! I would go back and see them again.
Really enjoyed the show. All the performers were very talented.
This is a must see! My mom had the best time. All of the actors are so talented and wow, can they sing! It was non-stop and high energy from beginning to end. Loved it!
The show tickets were gifted to us as a birthday present and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The music was fun and couldn't have been better. I learned some history of some of my favorite artists. Great job! However, you wanted to know what I really think? I hate that you felt you had to include cursing and crude language to be "real". It doesn't make the show more enjoyable and I don't care if they really did talk like that. It's not necessary.
Awesome music, awesome story, great theater-The Halloran.
Loved this musical! The actors are so talented and the musical was fantastic!
Amazing talent! Great music! Everyone should see this wonderful show!
It was a GREAT show! The actors were so talented and we’re amazing recreating these famous artists that we all remember.
An exceptional cast, very talented musicians. This play brings to life a momentous day in Memphis and in the world of Rock & Roll history. All of this because of the vision of one Sam Phillips and his Sun Studios. It took me back to my early teen years in Memphis in the fifties, and hearing all the music I grew up with. I highly recommend you catch this production, if you haven't already.
The story of the start of R&R in MEMPHIS was played out through the words of Sam Phillips and complimented through the songs of the quartet.
The show is non-stop, start to finish. If you love history that’s behind the music of these four gentleman, this is THE show for you. Music and energy packed! You can’t go wrong with this show. I will definitely be back again!!
It was a great show, well worth driving 160 miles round trip.
Not impressed The story and concept were good. The performers were talented, but did not come close to representing their characters. The characters individual microphones were not adjusted well. The seating and other elements of the venue are above average.
We really enjoyed the million dollar quartet....live music is the best. The Halloran Centre is a nice size venue with great sound and comfortable seats. Our favorite part was the very end when the music, songs and dance had us all dancing in the isles. Great Time! Thanks Mark Parrish
The show was highly entertaining for all ages. Would see it again!
2nd time I saw the show 5 years apart. Liked the 1st time better. Loved Jerry Lee but wasn't really impressed with Elvis.
The music in this show is great, but the casting is way off, especially Elvis. Each cast member is talented, but Not necessarily for this production. Jerry Lee Lewis sounded the most like he should and the girlfriend was wonderful. It was very distracting at the beginning, but I did get more used to these characters toward the end.
I love Elvis. I thought this show would be a lot about Elvis, but it wasn't. The guy playing Elvis did a great job with his singing, but I would not really credit him as being an Elvis impersonator. The star of the show was the guy who played Jerry Lee Lewis. I don't know if Jerry Lee ever acted as corny in real life, but it was entertaining. The guy playing Johnny Cash did an excellent job of imitating Johnny. I don't recall knowing about Carl Perkins but the guy playing him played a mean guitar and had a great voice. The guy portraying Sam Phillips was superb and the woman portraying Dyanne could really belt out the music. This was so much fun, and it did not disappoint! I took my mom who is 82, and she thoroughly enjoyed it. If you are on the fence about going, get off the fence and go! If you need someone to go with, I'll go again!
This production was high energy from start to finish. The talent was unbelievable. The cast was having fun and we were too. Well done Million Dollar Quartet !! 🤗
What a performance. Enlightening and entertaining musically and historically. The JLL imitator was phenomenal. Dynamite vocals for the female lead. outstanding guitars and backup band. The bonus Christmas set was off the chart.
