Mike Viola is an extremely talented artist, the show was absolutely great. Mike Viola has an incredible library of music, and years of experienced talent that is very entertaining to experience, I highly recommend catching a show. Mike also took the time to sign items, take pictures, and have a chat after the show that was very generous of him, and he was very personable and great to talk to.

I wish he would have played at least some of his older songs. I have like four of his (older) CDs, and didn't recognize a single song the whole night. All of the songs were good, but my bias might be that the older songs are just a bit better. Maybe it's because he was playing in front of a hometown crowd and his family....he seemed to go for more obscure (or more recent?) songs.

Mike Viola spend decades in the East Village before moving West. What a treat to have him back in the neighborhood for another unforgettable performance. It’s easy to just enjoy his voice and musical talent (plus his witty onstage presence). But if you dive into his lyrics you are taken to a whole new level of intelligent emotional perspectives that leave you pumped for the next time.
