MIKE STUD IN CONCERT:
Hip hop up-and-comer Mike Stud has been on the rise ever since scoring a viral hit in 2010 with the song "College Humor". He made the track as a joke for his college baseball teammates, but things quickly got serious when fans caught wind of his witty lyrics, melodic flow, and feel-good hip hop productions. Since then he's released several records, played sold-out concerts around the country, and earned a reputation as a world-class live performer with his upbeat live shows. Hot on the heels of his sophomore album Closer, Stud continues to treat ticket buyers to fun-filled performances on the #StudSummer Tour 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Rhode Island-born Mike Stud was a decorated high school baseball star before making a name for himself as a rapper. He was the Gatorade Player of the Year and the Louisville Slugger Player of the Year during his senior season, and his accomplishments earned him a full-ride athletic scholarship to Duke University. After an injury sidelined him during his sophomore year at Duke, he focused his energies on producing music. His debut track "College Humor" -- a joke aimed at his fellow teammates -- was released in 2010, marking a watershed moment in his life. The song quickly racked up views online, and by the time college was over Stud had turned to writing and producing music full time. His popularity grew with the 2011 mixtape A Toast to Tommy, and in 2013 he released his debut studio album Relief to a No. 1 spot on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. In addition to performing to sold-out crowds on his Stud Nation Tour, he has accumulated nearly 40 million YouTube views with his music videos and popular covers. In 2014 Stud released his sophomore album Closer to a No. 2 spot on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, thrilling fans soon after with the announcement of the coast-to-coast #SummerStud Tour.

The mixes the openers and support had were subpar at best. The venue was charging well above price for beers.
Uhhhhhhhhhyuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Outstanding performer. Great venue size. Perfect value. Love the music. The place was popping!
Was the best concert I have ever gone to!! Mike is an amazing artist!
Mike put on the best show I could ask for. Played every song we wanted to hear, full of energy, and even bought half the place jello shots
Mike actually sounded like he does on his albums. Perfect interaction with the crowd. Played a few of his older songs. Merch was fairly priced too. Venue sounded great. Hope Mike moves up to bigger venues soon!
Never disappointed at a Mike concert, always a great time and good vibes! Thanks for an unforgettable night!
If you’re even questioning seeing Mike in concert, you’re crazy… do it!! One of the best nights, I’ll remember forever!
Mike is overall a great performer. I’ve seen him many many times and I have never been disappointed. The room we were in was definitely over packed with people and I was squeezing my way through people to go to the bathroom. I wouldn’t say mike is a huge artist but I’ve never seen a show with so many people. I was actually wondering if it was up to fire code with the amount of people. It’s not mikes fault but the fact that I couldn’t even go to the bathroom without squeezing my way through people was a little weird. Maybe it was the set up of the venue? Great performance but I won’t be going back to Big Night Live
The absolute best concert and performer I’ve seen in a long time!!! Mike absolutely crushed it! Can’t wait to see him tour again ♥️🙌🏽
Mike just knows how to make his performance personable. He stayed on stage, bought shots, and played the right music. Wish I could relive that night 100 times.
Great show, the venue was amazing and the staff were all very nice!
If you love the highs album this concert is perfect for you. It’s more of a listening party than anything it feels. Mike. Is very talented no doubt and I understand he is trying to move away from the Mike Stud days but the frat rap sound kinda made him who he is and into as big of an artist he is today. I’ve seen him a few times and its still the same frat rap antics without the sound. The highs is great but it goes into some monotony as many of the songs can blend together with similar guitar rifts and vocal accompaniment. The only songs that weren’t from the highs or a recent single release from the past year was Swish and These Days. You could feel the energy go stale as he plays songs from the highs back to back to back etc. He needs to add more of his older Mike Stud stuff to the set to break up the monotony of the highs.
What a great performer! Really knows how to interact with his crowd. Felt like just one big party. Can’t wait to see him again.
One of the best concerts I have been to. Venue was really nice, and the Early Access was an amazing decision. Mike was one of the coolest and down to earth performers. Free merch bundle was awesome as well, however, I wish we would have been able to get the stuff after the show was over, as I didn't have anywhere to put them during. Me & my girlfriend had our signed posters get destroyed because we had to set them on the ground unfortunately. All around amazing time & would love to do again!!
It was an amazing show from start to finish. The music was great. The vibe was positive. YNK
Mike never disappoints when he comes to Cleveland. It’s always a great time and I have the best night ever
Mike freaking killed it!!!!! First time seeing him live and it was the best concert I have ever been to. I cannot wait for him to come back to Pittsburgh someday!!!!
Line was long to begin with but moved fast. Entry was seamless for myself and my guests. Venue was clean and functional. Leaving was the worst part and it wasn’t even that bad. Mike. is fantastic
