MIKE STUD IN CONCERT:
Hip hop up-and-comer Mike Stud has been on the rise ever since scoring a viral hit in 2010 with the song "College Humor". He made the track as a joke for his college baseball teammates, but things quickly got serious when fans caught wind of his witty lyrics, melodic flow, and feel-good hip hop productions. Since then he's released several records, played sold-out concerts around the country, and earned a reputation as a world-class live performer with his upbeat live shows. Hot on the heels of his sophomore album Closer, Stud continues to treat ticket buyers to fun-filled performances on the #StudSummer Tour 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Rhode Island-born Mike Stud was a decorated high school baseball star before making a name for himself as a rapper. He was the Gatorade Player of the Year and the Louisville Slugger Player of the Year during his senior season, and his accomplishments earned him a full-ride athletic scholarship to Duke University. After an injury sidelined him during his sophomore year at Duke, he focused his energies on producing music. His debut track "College Humor" -- a joke aimed at his fellow teammates -- was released in 2010, marking a watershed moment in his life. The song quickly racked up views online, and by the time college was over Stud had turned to writing and producing music full time. His popularity grew with the 2011 mixtape A Toast to Tommy, and in 2013 he released his debut studio album Relief to a No. 1 spot on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. In addition to performing to sold-out crowds on his Stud Nation Tour, he has accumulated nearly 40 million YouTube views with his music videos and popular covers. In 2014 Stud released his sophomore album Closer to a No. 2 spot on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, thrilling fans soon after with the announcement of the coast-to-coast #SummerStud Tour.
Been to a lot of concerts and mike was by far the best… the crowd basically sang every word of every song back to him. the energy was unmatched. I highly recommend seeing him if you haven’t already.
First off, I was highly impressed by the Roxian Theatre. The line to get in was incredibly long, but once the doors open it moved incredibly fast to get in. Bathroom waits were no issue, and getting drinks were no problem. Mike put on a hell of a show. He always brings great energy, and interacts with the fans. Seriously considering traveling to see him again at a destination, and making a trip of it.
Great concert the set was amazing. I got the VIP tickets he made that experience very personable. Skeez Blue Foley and Kilmer were all walking around during the vip experience. The concert itself was amazing the atmosphere was awesome highly recommend to go to a show. After the show mike. And skeez stayed after the show was done and signed stuff for awhile. It was a great concert they’re a great group of people
Great music, the man knows how to party! 11/10 going to his next show when he is back in town!
I have been to every one of Mike's shows in the Pittsburgh area. He never disappoints.
If you have a split second of doubt about buying a ticket to go see Mike Stud just stop what your doing and go buy that ticket now! His live shows are amazing and such a great time for everyone! One of the better shows I’ve ever been too! Had such a great time!
Mike Stud never lets me down. I have been to multiple shows he has performed - he engages the crowd and does all the fan favorite songs.
It was amazing. I say to purchase the VIP package cause he’s a great guy when you meet him, you can tell he’s not putting on a act truly great. The show was awesome plays a mixture of old and new. Aside of the pushing from others that wanna get closer to the front that’s normal. Buy a ticket trust me.
Hands down the best concert I’ve ever been to, from the moment he walked on stage until the last song the energy in the room was so hype. The experience of a mike stud concert is definitely one of a kind
The bouncers had the line moving very quickly, smooth fast entry into the venue. The openings acts were very good! Drinks were priced appropriately with friendly staff. Mike put on an awesome show as usual, always thinking of his fans first. I was up on the balcony section and he came up there to shake everyone’s hand which was so cool. Most artists won’t do that these days. He played all of his best songs and made it feel like a house party. Awesome show 10/10.
Good show. It wasn’t too overcrowded. Parking was not a problem. I got lucky and found a spot out front.
Went to the concert because my boyfriend is a big fan. I totally loved it! I'd call myself a Steve now.
I’ve been a fan of mikes from the very beginning and this concert was the best yet. Venue was a little bit sketch but the performance was amazing. He really makes it feel like a house party and always keeps it so fresh and Fun. He’s super talented, especially in person. Probably my favorite artist ever to be honest.

From start to end Mike Stud put on an amazing show! He played a lot of his new songs and some old. He picked a great set list to perform. Crowd was intense too! I would so recommend seeing Mike Stud!

Mike Stud puts on a great show every time! It's always lit and a total party, but the music is a whole other discussion. Hands down amazing.
Mike put on a great show like always. The staff on the other hand had no clue as to what they were doing.
This was my first concert and it was unforgettable. From the Cato and Nate Milyunz opening performance to the Mike Stud act, the energy was electric. The Futuristic and Devvon Terrell performance was nearly the craziest part of the concert as they are very fun to watch.
