Hailing from Chihuahua, Mexico, Midnight Generation is redefining the boundaries of Latin electro-funk with their genre-bending blend of disco, synth-pop, and soulful grooves. The band--Fernando Mares, Luis Carlos "Bica" Valderrama, Carlos Amaya, Samuel Marquez, and newest member Diego Bustillos--has taken their sound from Mexico's most iconic venues to stages across Latin America, Europe, and the U.S. With millions of streams, a viral presence, and a new album pushing their artistry to new heights, the band is quickly becoming one of the most exciting live acts in the global music scene.

Midnight Generation blew us away when we saw them live at Antone’s in Austin, TX. Their sound was a vibrant fusion—disco grooves layered with electronic textures and rhythmic pulses, all elevated by the magic of the talk box. The heat and energy in the room melted into the crowd’s intensity as we moved in sync with MG’s infectious beats. Some tracks felt comfortably within a genre, while others broke boundaries in the best way possible. That unpredictability made the experience even more thrilling. These musicians are the real deal—refined, professional, and in a class of their own. I’ve always loved discovering hidden musical gems, especially artists who thrive outside the mainstream. Midnight Generation fits that mold perfectly. Their talent is undeniable, and while they may not be mainstream yet, it’s only a matter of time before they ignite a spark that spreads worldwide. It’s incredible to witness a band from Mexico poised to take the global stage.
These guys are incredible. Get them back to Denver soon
