My fun group of 4 made the trip to the Open. We had a fabulous time circulating the grounds in the morning then the double matches at night. Two changes that would be helpful are: Add a handicap shuttle back and forth to the Yellow #18 Uber lot. We received a golf car ride to the bridge, but had to walk the long cross-over bridge to get our Uber. We are seniors and handicapped. Second- the Pizza vendor outside falsely advertised a Margherita pizza slice for $14, but served and argued a plain cheese slice is the same thing. The staff was not friendly or accommodating. Other than those two issues, the Open was organized with tons of seating and places to sit.
Don't get me wrong, the tennis was awesome.. nice to see the top players in action. However, the parking and ability to get into the lots was stupid... cars lined up everywhere and no good process to get fans into the lots place. Not sure how numerous accidents didn't occur. And then you have the long walk to the stadium...... Was disappointed in some of the outer courts with so little seating for fans... when you have two Americans playing dubs you know the crowd will be large.. don't put them on a court where you only have two small sides to accommodate the match.... The food needs major improvement ... it wasn't good, quite expensive and very few choices... this needs to be better... I enjoy music but when I am trying to watch and hear a match the loud music is a major distraction.. I would think the players would want it less noisy as well...
We watched Alcaraz, Sinner and Shelton practice. Saw Shelton vrs Musetti and Colins vrs Cristea from great seats in Butch Buckholtz and the Grandstand. My wife appreciated the free shuttle from the orange level parking lot. Rode the gondola. Food is way too expensive. Good seats in the Stadium are way too expensive.
Wa screat once again to see the players playing so close to the public. This makes a huge difference
This tournament should be back on Key Biscayne. As long as it’s at hard rock with fake temporary stadiums it will suck and the best players will skip it
Excellent experience for the first time very organized the parking definitely expensive and really unexpected rain the whole day we miss all and no refund 🤨
The Miami open grounds at the stadium is a very poor representation of professional tennis. The outer courts location and access are difficult to find the vendors are expensive and lacks variety. My wishes that the tournament returns to Key Biscayne, which over the years have been a perfect location for tennis. It’s ambiance fits perfectly. I will not be back to the stadium.
Once again, parking situation is an absolute mess. Yellow parking pass was purchased ahead of time but lots get full and overflow lot at Walmart had to be used. That’s fine, but no proper signage indicating where to go and staff isn’t trained to know anything when asked. It’s been a couple of years now, venue needs to figure it out asap.
Really well organized, great games. But really - get the food prices and quality under control, and find a way to fill up the stadium without leaving so many empty seats please!
