I was exploring something to do Sunday at 4am when I saw two great sweat come available to this mostly sold out show. I wanted to do something that would make my wife happy !! This was a truly great way to share time. The performers was astounding, with grace and raw athletic talent. Much fun and a great orchestra !!
Beautiful choreography and the accompanying orchestra added to the wonderful performance. I’m very impressed with this company and looking forward to more performances
All three performances were vitally alive with passion and energy - the music was just amazing and the dancers were a fabulous synchronized body! First time seeing Slaughter on 10th Avenue and am still energized by it's vibrance four days later!
Most entertaining ballet program I’ve ever seen (and yeah I’ve seen a few) . Bravo 👏!
You have to be there. Can't explain the magic, the beauty.
The performances, the music, the costumes, the sets - everything was excellent. The problem I had is that I had to wait in line 30 minutes at Will Call for my tickets! I don't stand well so was dizzy and short of breath and had to sit and rest before I could go to my seat. I was at the theater by 1 and the line was already winding around the lobby! The Broward Center rep I spoke to said that the Will Call was set up by Miami City Ballet. That situation needs work but the venue, the dancers were practically perfect.
I was left speechless but everything was wonderful. The dancing, the costume design, the lighting and set design, the music...speechless. The Divertissement at the end was sublime. I can't say enough, but I will say that I have been missing out on the Miami City Ballet and I will not miss out again!
Everything from the costume design to the choreography amazed me. The lighting worked to transport me to their selected setting, whether it was the forest or sea. I felt as if I was a part of the performance, and the humor truly solidified the ballet for me.
MCB performanced was good, 1st act was too long, more theatrical than dancing. 2nd act more much Ballet. Sound system with the live band was kind of low. I particulary didn't like it, that's why a gave 4 stars.

The Miami Ballet company is always a treat. Heatscape was especially iteresting.

Excellent performance. Full of emotion, beautiful execution, I was not familiar with the program, and was so delighted. A lovely evening I will remember.

Gorgwous costumes and amazing talent on stage and in the pit
I expected much more and was disappointed. Neither Classical nor Modern works had pizzas, fireworks or strokes of genius Modern American Ballet is famous for. I can't blame the performers for the lack of vision, they performed the best they could, but the ones who direct their performance.
This ballet was quite pathetic. The minimalist sets, set the show tempo. The costumes are drab and looked awful. The performers did their best with both musical scores being most unenjoyable. The only redeeming factor was the pre~show lecture with the conductor elucidating. Paying top dollar for performances of this caliber is nothing short of being ripped off !
Will see it again! Music and ballet very nice performance
Awesomely awesome. The professionalism and precision is supreme, and the selections were varied including both classical, contemporary and even comical pieces. A wonderful evening.
The ballet was beautiful. I especially enjoyed the rendition of Westside Story. The seats in the theater were comfortable and easy to see the performance even in the upper areas.
