Totally plan on making this an annual resorting! Amazing show!

Went twice, different audiences, last Thursday and Friday. It was an awesome 👌 experience. So elegant and so much grace. The Miami City Ballet Orquestra and the whole company did an excellent job. Great production. 👍🏻 applause 👏 🙌 👌

I was very disappointed with the new interpretation of the nutcracker, featuring a tropical Hawaiian backdrop, with a giant pineapple in the middle of a braided rope. It looked like something that was ordered from the Oriental trading catalog. I also didn’t understand the artist interpretation of the dancers wearing sombreros. Some traditions should not be changed. The dancers were amazing, Masters of their skills! Too much emphasis on the children’s performance and Showtime. I am angry with the marketing of the show. The show should’ve been marketed as a “tropical” theme. There was only one winter snow scene.

The Nutcracker was a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season. Excellent rendition! The orchestra was perfect and the dancing was outstanding!

It was simply 'splendid' - I attended the lecture and it was fascinating to learn all of the details from the two chosen ballet dancers. I had no idea that a dancer that can act and sing is called a 'Triple Threat' I also learned the emotional anticipation and 'rejection' that each went through beginning at a young age when they 'knew' they wanted to be a ballet dancer. As far as the event itself: it was fabulous! All the dancers were magnificent. The ballerinas were so perfectly in tune; it was very, very nice. The choreography was great. I thoroughly enjoyed the pianist and Lecuona's music interpreted by the dancers of Miami City Ballet. I would have liked and suggest that the pianist reflection shows up on the screen, be a hollograph or simply a reflection, rather than seeing a blank screen. Since the pianist is sitting sideways, one can't appreciate the ability of the hands on the keyboard. He was magnificent.

Great dancers. World class company. On a par with ABT.

I recently attended the Miami City Ballet's "Fresh & Fierce" mixed program, and the first two performances, Divertimento No. 15 and Sentimiento were truly breathtaking. However, the third piece, "West Side Story Suite," fell short of my expectations. The decision to have the dancers sing during the performance felt rather awkward, as the vocal quality was subpar, making it difficult to comprehend or even hear the lyrics. This detracted from the overall experience. On the other hand, the introduction featured a professional singer alongside a solo dancer, which was a mesmerizing combination. The finale also impressed, as it showcased pre-recorded vocals from professional singers. Despite the disappointing singing moments during "West Side Story Suite," I am grateful the entire show wasn't solely based on this performance.

Amazing show. I had to see it twice it was so good!! All three segments were awesome. The dancers killed it! West Side Story was great, dancers sang and danced. Really cool. Lectures before the shows give you that extra behind the scenes in-the-know experience. The live orchestra really adds the over the top punch. Go see it if you can.

IT WAS AN AMAZING SHOW!!! DANCERS WERE AWESOME++. MIAMI CITY IS LOADED WITH TALENT. FAR EXCEEDS ALL EXPECTATIONS. I WILL BE ATTENDING AS MANY SHOWS AS I CAN. HAVE TO GIVE A SHOUT OUT TO ANDREA SPIRIDONAKOS FOR HER BEAUTIFUL COSTUMES, SO EASY ON THE EYES. THE ORCHESTRA WAS TOP SHELF! CAN’T MISS WITH MIAMI CITY BALLET. SEE THEM IF YOU CAN, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.

I so loved the modern ballets. It gave the male dancers a true opportunity to dance instead of being used as supports for ballerinas. Just loved everything. The costumes were beautiful, as are the dancers.

The Theater was beautiful, orchestra and acoustics were wonderful and the ballet was excellent! Loved all the pieces, the costumes and choreography! Overall a wonderful time! Thank you!

I am still glowing from the grace and magic of watching “Modern Masters.” Each ballet was a physical challenge and yet so effortlessly presented. The orchestra was wonderful, exhilarating, perfect compliment to the dancers. I plan to go to their next performance. Can’t wait!

The performance of the MCB was wonderful. The dangers' fluidity; the choreography; the energy of the performers made the evening a very exciting one.

We took advantage of the discounted orchestra seats and had a great view. The three pieces of the Modern Masters were all unique and lovely, especially the Martha Graham piece. Excellent dancers!! Theatre could have been slightly cooler, but all in all a wonderful time! Love the Miami City Ballet and have from the beginning.

The ballet was magnificent! The dancers and musicians were exceptional. Such a classic romance story told in the art of dance and music that is still very relevant today! My sister and I enjoyed every minute of it. The venue is also very easy to get around and parking in the garage is very convenient.

Pros: Ticketmaster was great. They easily solved my mistake. Brunch at Big City Tavern, is near the theatre and is highly recommended. The venue is wonderful. The show was mesmerizing. Cons: very difficult parking. Leave early. Or valet for $25. Wine at venue is expensive & awful.

One of best companies I have ever seen, and such depth In the dancers. What a great variety of styles - loved the Rodeo, Sinatra songs and the colors of Firebird were tremendous.

I would’ve liked to have Fred Astaire more time since it was named for him. Too short.

The presentations were beautiful, creative and captivating, yet still classic. Guests were also enthralled. I WISH I could get seating for the next Ft Lauderdale Sunday, very disappointed that no good seats are left.
