by Spasticpoprock on 8/7/17University of Phoenix Stadium - GlendaleThe whole concert as a whole was fantastic my only regret would have been not sitting closer, we were in section 441 row 20 and honestly the venue didn't think the sound over very well, with the rooftop being closed the sound bounced off walls so you could barely hear the vocals. But overall the concert was fantastic my boyfriend who I surprised with the tickets and a trip to Phoenix from Colorado to see them was so happy and that's all I could have asked for

I was beyond excited when I found out they were gonna be in Arizona and even more when I found out they were accompanied by Avenged Sevenfold which I was crazy about in high school. Neither disappointed. It was a fantastic show; the energy was amazing, and the performances were just crazy. I hadn't had this much fun in a long time. I just wish Avenged Sevenfold had played longer because they completely blew me away. We had to wait about an hour after them for Metallica's set so that kinda sucked, but when Hardwired started playing, it made it all worth it. The crowd went crazy when they came out. Metallica has this presence like.. I don't even know how to describe it, I just know it was amazing. It was a real dream come true for me.

Metallica hit the stage with the desire to bring their best concert experience to Phoenix, and they left nothing in the tank when they were done. Everything from the current Hardwired album all the way back to the Garage Days.
