MercyMe has been releasing hits in the Christian rock genre since 2001, when "I Can Only Imagine" caught the attention of the public and became the most requested song on a mainstream station in Texas. Despite the band's success on conventional radio stations, the majority of ticket buyers expect MercyMe's concert tours to be religion oriented, and they are not disappointed. Fans who attended the Rock & Worship Roadshow in 2013 described the tour as uplifting and filled with spiritual hits that included "Word of God Speak,” “All of Creation” and "You Don’t Care At All." The latter song is from the 2012 album The Hurt & the Healer, which reached No. 1 on the Christian Albums Billboard chart.
Millard formed MercyMe with Jim Bryson and Mike Scheuchzer in Oklahoma, and after releasing independently, MercyMe signed with INO Records in 2001. Their first album earned the 2x Platinum certification from the RIAA after "I Can Only Imagine" won two Dove Awards. On 2002's Spoken For, which peaked at No. 2 on the Christian Albums chart, the title track was the most successful. 2004's Undone brought with it hits like "Here with Me," "Homesick" and "In the Blink of an Eye." 2006's Coming Up to Breathe was nominated for a Grammy, due to hit singles like "Bring the Rain," "So Long Self" and "Hold Fast." All That Is Within Me was released in 2007, with "God With Us" reaching No. 1 on the Christian Songs Billboard chart. 2010 saw the release of The Generous Mr. Lovewell, while 2012's The Hurt & The Healer featured "You Are I Am" and the title track as the most popular songs. MercyMe has plans to continue its tour for The Hurt & the Healer album in 2014.

It was an excellent show and a good venue I really liked all three performances.
The MercyMe concert was amazing! All of the artists did not disappoint! I don’t think there were any seats that would have been bad, and it was nice being indoors. The tickets were a great price, and the concert was well worth it! The arena was clean and the whole experience was great!
The joy was infectious! I can't wait until next year! The stadium was comfortable and easy to get to but MercyMe..........They're so fun and talented and so relatable. Natalie Grant and Sam Wesley were the whipped cream and the cherry on top of the whole night.
Last night’s MercyMe concert was nothing short of incredible! From the first note to the final encore, the atmosphere was electric yet deeply moving. The band delivered powerful vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and a genuine sense of worship that brought the entire crowd together. Bart Millard’s storytelling between songs made it feel personal—like we were all part of one big family, not just an audience. Classics like “I Can Only Imagine” and “Even If” had everyone singing through tears, while newer songs brought fresh energy and joy. What stood out most was the authenticity, no flashy distractions, just a group of talented musicians using their gifts to glorify God and remind everyone of hope and grace. It was equal parts concert and worship service, and I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and reminded of God’s mercy in every season.
We had great seats. It was a great concert. I do not care for the fascist Mizzou Arena. My brother had to walk a couple of miles to put my purse back in the car. I was unable to due to health issues. I would love to see them again.
The concert was great - always is when I hear Mercy Me. I prefer it when they have all the words as captions (I'm hard of hearing). I don't love the new bag policy....that's a pain, but I guess we live in an imperfect world. They closed the balcony and picked seats for us. I had specifically chosen an isle seat as I need to get out and walk occasionally during a concert for my back. We were moved in from the isle about 8 people and I didn't feel like I could disturb them to get out as often as I would have liked. Those were my only reasons for not giving them 5 stars!
Venue, and staff: very nice. Music drew us to worship: a blessing. Bright lights hurt my eyes. Ticket and handicap parking: exorbitant. Comfortable armed chairs should be available for those who serve a handicapped person. Mercy Me: absolute favorite!
As always, the band performed their hearts out and delivered a great show. The venue needs to step it up: two of four entrances were closed and there was very little staff to help direct where to go. Inside, the seats are so close together simply clapping for the band was difficult. Imagine seeing a concert from an airline seat, it was THAT bad. At $150 per seat we did get premium viewing, can’t complain about 4th row center, but again the closeness of the bodies was miserable. Premium viewing and premium seating are worlds apart. Did stand the majority of the time, but consistently hitting the person next to you loses its charm for both parties after like 2 minutes. Just could not be avoided. I give 5 stars to the entertainers… ONE STAR for the venue. Hope they go back to Idaho Center or whatever it’s called now if they come again.
Awesome, inspirational and powerful trio!! Loved being part of a worshipping crowd - watching the lights, the hands raised and the voices lifted - nothing better!! ♥️🙌🏻 Thank you!!
We're fans of MercyMe and it was great to hear them in person. I do however wish that the amplification volume in the stadium had been reduced to a healthy level. The family in front of us had to leave shortly after the concert started because they had a young child and were obviously concerned about the volume. We resorted to ear plugs that were being handed out by the staff which made the experience less intense but also took away from the overall quality of the sound. That was a compromise we were willing to make and we are glad we attended.
So I went to this concert feeling kinda doubtful that they were going to sing from the heart, but I was totally blown away once Mercy Me came on stage. Not only were they awesome, but you could tell everyone wanted to be there. The way they sang was indescribable. The band that Bart's boys were in definitely has potential to get big; they have great harmony. Natalie Grant sang beautifully, but I did not care for the way her set ended. She didn't say anything, take a bow, or anything; she just walked off stage, and that was it. I believe when people show up to watch people sing or even perform, a little more acknowledgment would have been nice. It seemed to me that she didn't care; she was just there for a paycheck because she was not the headliner.
What an amazing concert! It was great to see people of so many ages all together enjoying the concert.
Concert was amazing!!! MercyMe is SO talented and Bart Miller was hilarious!!! Would definitely see them again.
The concert was great. However, the sound could've been turned down some. The voices could hardly be heard especially Natalie Grant. He voice is awesome, but the noise level was too high, her voice was distorted and you couldn't hear the words clearly
The concerts was great from the opening band all the way through. I was surprised how funny Bart Millard was too. Enjoyed the dialogue, the music and the whole atmosphere at the extra mile event center.
We took our granddaughter who is 9 and she had the best time. We had great seats and would love to see them all again❤️❤️❤️
MercyMe is an incredible band of guys that are passionate about their faith and music which made the concert so memorable. I will see them again when they’re here next year. They are by far my favorite Christian group!
Talent exudes this group…fantastic music, humorous conversation, new music, old music they played it all. Enjoyed the “ happy dance” to wrap it up!
Such an amazing show! I love that the they are real people who love Jesus and it is not just a production. They played so many of the older songs mixed with the newer, so you heard all of your favorites. The acoustic set was just what we all needed to sit and get off our feet. :) I appreciate that they put lyrics up for everyone to see and sing along. I am so glad they came to our little corner of the world. From the Boise crowd, THANKS MIKE! LOL Actually, thank you from the heart Bart, Robby, Nathan, Mike and Barry. Beautiful performance!
Mercy Me does an awesome job! I can't wait to go see them again!!
