Merchants of Bollywood Tickets

If you like Bollywood movies, the dancing, the singing, and the costumes, then go see Merchants of Bollywood! There was enough storyline to keep you (and the significant other) interested and plenty of dancing and humor to keep you (and the kids) entertained. References to Bollywood movies of the past take you on a stroll down memory lane. It's a beautiful lovestory with significant ties to the past and religious upbringing.

The show was awsome and very well done. I would see the show agian and recommend to everyone to see. It was very uplifting, entertaining, professionally done and a high energy performance.

I thought the show was absolutely amazing. It has a great storyline that was moved along smoothly, and great songs and dances. I loves all the characters, especially, Aisha, Dada ji, and Tony! Everyone enacted their part very well, but I especially enjoyed Tony's part and Aisha part the most of all. The songs and dances were great, everyone dances very good, I especially enjoyed the classical dances with the tandav.

This was an excellent Bollywood show. I loved all the dancing and music; also the high energy and beauty of the scenes only added to the wonderful experience. Hopefully more of this type will come to the area.

The play was nice choreagraphed bolly wood presentation. Had some of the hit songs which was fun to watch. Good - funny dramatic roles. Would have loved to see some nice soft musicals as most of them were high beats. Would have loved them to limit some verbal jokes which does not meld with story . Would have loved them to be a more synchronized (srry if I am comparing to Rokets in Radio City hall) . Bottom line - Bollywood song lovers who want to get a break from the amateur and kids programs on local stages can payup and enjoy a nice choreagraphed version.

The show was dazzling and the dancing an amazing mix of traditional & modern Indian, pop, hip hop and disco in a mash-up that transcends the sum of its parts. The lead male dancer was amazing. My only complaint is that there was so much going on that I didn't know where to look.

This was one of the most entertaining show I have ever seen. I had so much fun. The costumes were incredible, bright and festive. The cast were just beautiful (the men AND the women). The energy was off the charts and made you want to get up and dance with them. It would have been a shame had I missed it. I am so glad to have had the opportunity to see this show.

This was a fantastic show. I was dancing in my seat. Great dancing, great music and was very funny. The dancers had the crowd going. Everyone should see this!

Brought my wife to tears it was so good! We are now looking at taking Bollywood dance lessons in our area. Highly recommend!

The dancing and culture displayed was extravagant. I really enjoyed the beautiful, well made costumes. Most importantly, I loved the energy that was brought to the stage. Will definitely recommend this show to a friend. Also you'll enjoy the music.

A stage full of beautiful people with phenomenal dance talents, colorful costumes, great music, and a heartwarming storyline... what a fantastic way to spend an evening.

Excellent Show, Wish it was longer, Great music, choreography

Almost non-stop, high-energy dancing and singing high-lighted this entertaining musical extravaganza about two members of the Merchant Bollywood-style film-making clan in Bombay, India. Dazzling and colourful costumes enlivened the otherwise starkly bare stage and helped to bring excitement to the rather simplistic trans-generational story-line that pitted the elderly patriarch, and his old ways, against his youthful and rebellious grand-daughter who strove to break into the Indian film industry by bringing a fresh, new approach to the established Bollywood genre. A few times through the show, the pounding and repetitious Bollywood beat became boring and as a result the otherwise frenetic pace of the show seemed to have some members in the audience near us nodding off for a while. On the whole, an entertaining production with excellent dancers and singers. However, I'm glad we saw it in Buffalo where we paid $40 for Orchestra seats rather than catching it in Toronto in November (as we had originally planned) where Orchestra seats would have cost us twice as much each!
