Nicely choreographed, danced and excellent costumes. narrative a bit thin/predictable but overall a nice evening.

We really enjoyed the show. It did not receive much publicity in advance of coming to Chicago, so we had no idea what to expect. It far exceeded our expectations! The production was very good quality, with excellent choreography, costumes and dances. It was nice that there was an actual story line weaved into the show and a good mix of traditional Indian dances with the newer "bollywood" style moves. Great tribute to all the famous Indian actors and classic songs of yester years, combined with a good assortment of the latest popular songs. Most of the auditorium was up on their feet, many danclng in the aisles by the end of the show. I wish the show was in Chicago for longer as I would have like to recommend it to my friends.

amusing with lots of energy. great dancing. could have used a bit of a break in the action in the first act. in the second act I would have liked a bit more drive.

Exceeded my expectations! Was fun and full of energy. Love the "Bollywood" movies and this was like being in my very own Bollywood extravaganza!

Loved the show... Its was non stop dhamaal ... good story .. great dances all vaibhavi merchants ' dance numbers bhangras dandiya and mostly bollywood style dance .... music was by salim- suleiman

The choreography and dancing were brilliant and exhilarating! The performance was captivating and high energy from start to finish. Bollywood was a feast for the eyes and uplifying for the spirit. I saw both performances and was totally enthralled each time. I want to see Bollywood again!

I went to see the musical 'Merchants of Bollywood' not knowing anything about the production. We were amazed by the costumes, the choreography, and the high energy of the dancers on stage! There is a storyline about a grandfather who was a traditional Indian dance choreographer in the classic Indian movies of the decades past, and his granddaughter who wants to be as successful in the current crop of commercial Hindi movies made in Bombay (aka Bollywood). There are some amusing skits and jokes making fun of the cliched movies that are churned out every week by the industry. What is electrifying is the performance of the dancers on stage. Even if you know nothing about India and Hindi movies, you will appreciate the skill and dynamism of the dancers who I assume are all from India. There are about 20 dance numbers in two acts. This is a musical that will entertain the whole family. Go see it today.

All the color and energy of a Las Vegas review. You'll enjoy the show even if you are not familar with Bollywood films.
