This one-man fusion of theatre and stand-up is based on the New York Times #1 best-selling book of the last decade by John Gray. Moving swiftly through a series of vignettes, the show covers everything from dating and marriage to the bedroom but Men Are From Mars – Women Are From Venus LIVE! is more than just the book.
After beginning in Paris in 2007, Men are From Mars–Women are From Venus LIVE! has been seen by more than one million people around Europe. It debuted in the United States in February 2013 in Raleigh, North Carolina and will be playing to audiences around the United States and Canada throughout the year.
When Mars and Venus collide, the adventures are earth-shatteringly hysterical! This show will have couples elbowing each other all evening.
Sexy and fast paced, this show is definitely for adults. It’s a great recipe for a night out: a little storytelling blended with some comedy and a dash of sage wisdom from the book.

The show was brilliant, upbeat, funny and the performer was energetic and fantastic. His performance was amazing for a one man show!
He was entertaining without all the swear words that I object to hearing. My daughter and I had a good time.
Loved the show! Very entertaining and dead-on with insightful info on how and why we humans behave the way we do in relationships. Lots and lots of laughs and great venue. Every seat is has great view of stage.
Went with my hubby of 20 years. We both would nudge each other through out the performance. Sometimes I felt they were talking about us! It was a one man show which I wasn't expecting and really liked the informative video's disbursed in performance from Mr. Gray. Venue is nice and pretty much any seat is good. This would be a great gift to couples celebrating their 10 year and beyond aniversary.
Would have preferred the role of a woman being played by a woman; conversations between the two sexes.
We had fantastic seats, the venue is small ~ 525 seats and the stage is right there. The show was excellent. We laughed all the way home.
Great funny show. Good for a fun night out on the town with someone special
I purchased the tickets and then realized that it was my birthday. My wife treated me to dinner next door at Whispers Crepery where we usually eat before a show at the Hammer Theatre Not that many people at the show. It was the evening of a very cold, rainy night.but our weather was the best of it. The show was hilarious.. It was based on the book from the 1990's and included a couple of video clips of the Author talking about a couple of the points. Mostly it was a one man show using his personal relationship experience to illustrate the themes. This is fun evening for any couple, no matter how good or bad they think their relationship is. Go see it and laugh at the show and yourselves.
Performance was excellent!! The one and only character was most excellent!
It was good in it's own right and if you were looking for a marriage or relationship seminar. We were thinking it was going to be more of just a comedy show with multiple couples. More like menopause. It was not like that at all just one guy talking about how men and women are different and what we can do to understand each other and get along better.
I by no means wish to be a harsh critic of the show, since the performer seemed to be doing his best to put on his well rehearsed, often performed one man "comedy" show. I didn't like it and I couldn't relate. As I sat through the show, I kept thinking I must be from an alternate planet. It was a good night out only because of the venue.
NJ PAC is so much easier to navigate than the Prudential Center. This show was funny and entertaining, with a bit of learning on the side. I wasn't sure what to expect; however, it was a very fun date.
WAS NOT AS FUNNY AS WE HAD HOPED. THE SHORT VIDEO'S WERE BETTER THAN THE PERFORMER. MAYBE 2 PARTS THAT WERE ACTUALLY LAUGH OUT LOUD FUNNY. LOTS OF MAN BASHING AND HIM TALKING ABOUT BODY FUNCTIONS THAT HAD NO RELEVANCE TO THE SHOW.... WAS DISAPPOINTED.
Amadeo Fusca was amazing! Funny, witty captivating. Very enjoyable show
I thought this would be a sketch show along the lines of "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" - with a nod towards the original book. Instead it was a one man show that tried to be funny (and a little crude) while giving relationship advice. A chuckle at times, but mostly cringe worthy. Not recommended unless you really love John Gray.
The show was quite an undertaking for one person but he had us laughing and nodding our heads through the whole show. He taught us great marital lessons with humor and song. The conversation on the way home revolved around how insightful he was and so talented to open us up to the truths that exist in our marriages and relationships with the opposite sex!!
My husband and I enjoyed many laughable moments when the quips were so obviously on the money. The actor was relaxed, expressive, and interactive with the audience. We would def recommend to couples, not singles so much.
We had a great time! So much of the material hit home with my husband and I. It was such fun laughing at ourselves! Thank you!!
We were expecting more humor..would not recommend....
