This one-man fusion of theatre and stand-up is based on the New York Times #1 best-selling book of the last decade by John Gray. Moving swiftly through a series of vignettes, the show covers everything from dating and marriage to the bedroom but Men Are From Mars – Women Are From Venus LIVE! is more than just the book.
After beginning in Paris in 2007, Men are From Mars–Women are From Venus LIVE! has been seen by more than one million people around Europe. It debuted in the United States in February 2013 in Raleigh, North Carolina and will be playing to audiences around the United States and Canada throughout the year.
When Mars and Venus collide, the adventures are earth-shatteringly hysterical! This show will have couples elbowing each other all evening.
Sexy and fast paced, this show is definitely for adults. It’s a great recipe for a night out: a little storytelling blended with some comedy and a dash of sage wisdom from the book.
It’s like comedy marriage counseling. So funny and relatable.
We really didn't know what to expect, but the show was great!! The performer, Ryan, was excellent at presenting the theme and improvising at the same time. We had many laughs and some "reality checks" while enjoying a fun outing. We highly recommend this show!
This one man show is cleverly done but drags on at times. Overall it was enjoyable but not stellar.
Ryan Drummond did an amazing job detailing the differences between "Martians" and "Venusians". His verbal delivery was awesome as was his physicality. He provided non-stop entertainment and we laughed the night away. We would definitely recommend this performance to couples of any relationship duration.
Talented performer Content entertaining for the most part Too long, lost us at one point
Very entertaining and well done. As per my husband also very informative.
While this was somewhat entertaining it was not a full production; this was a one man show and nowhere in the promotion was this explained. I feel it was false advertising and the show was over-priced for what was presented.
HILARIOUS - what a great stage guy!!! Has a "knack" for acting-out other people's feelings.
no bashing and lots of laughing. I enjoyed it. I will be encouraging others to attend.
Very entertaining! He was right on and very funny!
The crowd was loud with uproarious laughter. Surprising as it was one man the whole show with accompanying video. This comedian was probably born with talent as he was so great. I completely loved his body language and his take on the sexes. We had a group of 4 and we could not help relaughing at our recaps at dinner after the show. I would recommend this show to my friends and nurses at work.
The show was not what I expected; not really sure what I expected. At any rate, I was thinking it would be more of a 'Play'. However, it was quite entertaining and amusing. I give the performer high marks for being able to keep the audience entertained for the entire show. His banter and gyrations were hysterical. And, he hit the mark with many of his comments. Overall, I enjoyed the show.
My husband and I had a fun date night to the show. It was funny and accurate. I would have liked to hear from a woman's perspective however. I kept waiting all night for the woman to come out and talk. Would recommend it however.
Wonderful show! This is a one man show, fast moving, hilarious and kept our full attention. Physical humor as well as verbal. We laughed all evening and had a wonderful time. Definitely recommend!
The show was so dead on. You just laugh and laugh at all the gender differences, relational challenges that are unique to no one. Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus for sure!
This one man show really hit the differences between the genders. I read the book some years ago (between relationships) - and found it to be very insightful - - the actor really hit on the differences between men and the 'other' gender. My wife and I kept pinching each other through out the show - - RIGHT ON !
The show was extremely funny, but we weren't expecting just ONE person to entertain us the entire time. It was odd, but yet, the ONE person was extremely funny and kept our attention the entire time.
We did not enjoy this performance. And it was not because of the quality of the comedian who was the show. We did not think the show actually followed the book. It was a conscious stream of the comedian's married life, or what he was representing as his life experiences. Many of the gags were simple humor, with a few cute lines. If I compare the ticket price to what I would pay for a good comedy club the price paid was far too much. For what the tickets cost I would had expected something like Ron White. So, in short it was not worth the money.
This on-man show was amazing. Amadeo Fusca engages the audience every minute. We laughed out loud many times. Thank you!!
One man show. he did a great job. Truisms are always funny and this hit the nail on the head! LOL
