Brought my 18yo daughter, who enjoyed hearing from Mel Robbins’ daughters and hearing their perspectives. There’s so much to relate to and get some ideas on how to get unstuck. Loved it!

I’ve been a longtime fan of Mel Robbins and was really excited for the opportunity to attend her event in Boston—especially since I’m from Rhode Island. It was a fun chance to explore the city, enjoy the gardens, and have dinner at a lovely restaurant. The event started off strong and full of promise. Mel greeted us warmly and even gifted us a bag, notebook, and one of her favorite pens, which felt personal and generous. Naturally, I expected we’d be filling that notebook with powerful insights and takeaways. While I deeply admire Mel and will continue to follow her work, I left the event feeling confused and a bit disappointed. Like many others, I only ended up jotting down two things. We were hoping for more depth and direction, especially given the time, cost, and effort it took to attend—childcare, gas, parking, dinner, and tickets all add up. I recognize that this was her first live event, and launching something new always comes with a learning curve. I truly hope future events are more structured and impactful, because I know how much value Mel has to offer.
