  • Not What I Expected

by AK on 5/16/25The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

Like her podcast and book, I thought this show would be full of advice and positivity. Especially with a notebook, I was thinking it would be interactive or at least an event to take notes at. Instead it was just a hodge podge of randomness and didn't make much sense. She talked about how she wrote the book with her daughter for most of the show and then her older kid performed??? It really didnt make sense

  • Unbelievable, Amazing, Exciting

  • Let Them was kind of a Let Down

by CM on 5/14/25The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

Love Mel but this was not at all what we expected. It felt more focused on launching her kids’ careers than on the content of the book. Hurray for trying something new, Mel and no worries, we’re still friends.

  • Loved It!

by Tracy on 5/14/25The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Love listening to my friend Mel!! The theater was extremely quiet as everyone took in what she had to say. I loved that she had her daughters there with her on Mother’s Day. She combined seriousness and laughter to make an impact on my way of thinking about things. Great job Mel!

  • Outstanding, Fun, Moving, Authentic, Inspirational

by LJ on 5/14/25The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I flew from NY to Chicago because I couldn’t get tickets in NY when show sold out. I doubted the travel especially on Mother’s Day. I am so glad I went. Well exceeded my expectations. It was more than an event or show, it was an experience. Like being invited to Mel’s kitchen table and hearing her story over coffee or wine. She made learning fun, moving, and authentic. Having her daughters share in the show was really special. And the tribute to her Mom! Her husband was also there but not introduced to the crowd. A family experience. Mel makes it real by being open with her story and pain, and finding ways to show that life can change for the better with one decision. So glad I went. Was lucky to get VIP and meet her. She was warm and great. Highly recommend.

  • Underwhelming

by Mel on 5/12/25Meridian Hall - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

I love Mel robbins. I listen to every episode. I have both the audiobook and the hard copy of the let them theory - this concept and book have changed my life. Which is why i was a bit dissapointed by this tour. It was super funny and entertaining and a fun night out, but it was not the let them theory tour. There was too much emphasis on her daughters and their 20-something year old experiences. It didnt feel motivational, it just felt like a show with some story telling. I brought a friend with me who desperately needed to hear the let them theory and they walked away with not much so i was sad about that. I think in future shows - she should stick to what we bought tickets for - the lets them theory. So people can have that ah ha moment. Your daughter is lovely but really don’t need to hear her sing a song. This irritated me more than anything and didnt add to the show or what i came for.

  • Disappointed

    by Jaime M on 5/11/25Rating: 1 out of 5

I was so excited to see Mel Robbins live—I’ve followed her work for years and was really looking forward to the energy and insight she brings. Unfortunately, the overall experience was just okay. While Mel herself is always engaging, the show felt a bit disjointed. A large portion of the time was spent promoting her daughters and featuring them in skits that came off as a little cheesy and not entirely relevant to the message I expected. The format didn’t flow well, and at times, it felt more like a family variety show than the empowering, motivational experience I had hoped for.

  • I am in awe and so grateful to Mel Robbins

by Queen Cee on 5/7/25Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Mel Robbins' "The Let Them Theory Tour"delivers a transformative experience that resonates deeply with audiences through her remarkable authenticity and practical wisdom. Her powerful message—"If nobody tells you today [that] I love you, you have the ability to make a better life"—perfectly encapsulates her philosophy that we all possess the inner strength to create meaningful change. What makes Robbins truly exceptional is how she interweaves personal family stories [both Sawyer and Kendall were there, saw Chris in the audience talking with fans] with actionable advice, creating both an entertaining show and a profound learning experience. Her vulnerability establishes an immediate connection with attendees, making her teachings feel accessible rather than theoretical. For countless individuals seeking positive transformation, Robbins has become more than just a motivational speaker—she's a compassionate guide who provides the tools and encouragement needed to reimagine what's possible in life. Thank you for changing my life, Mel! I love you!

  • fun, inspiring but fleeting

by TV on 5/5/25Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

My only complaint is the show was too short! Really an inspiring evening to see Mel with her children. Loved the book and the concept. It was great fun.

  • Underwhelming

by Vadlavalley on 5/5/25Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

I love Mel and her podcast and books. Huge fan. Event had good energy and I loved seeing Mel in person and getting a peek into her personal life, but I left feeling underwhelmed about the actual performance. It was entertaining, but seemed like the show tried to be too many things and didn’t go deep enough on any of them. I did appreciate the free swag and how the start of the show had the crowd interact and do some self reflection. There was a lot of self promotion of her two daughters. I admire using Mel’s fame as a channel to support her kids success, but the show seemed mostly about how to highlight them. Let Them was a clear message. Would have been nice to go more into the Let Me side of the book in the tour show.

  • Motivation Station

by Nicole on 5/5/25Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

Mel is such a skilled motivational speaker. I do wish there was a bit more material than what I’ve already read in The Let Them Theory, but it’s always great to hear her speak!!! I could listen to her ALL DAY LONG!!!

  • Great first show

by Fan from Philly on 5/5/25Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

It was a great show, very poignant and funny. My only suggestion would be to tighten up the part with your daughters. I loved that they were in it but it came off a little stiff and drawn out. It was the first show and it was understandable. So glad I was able to get tickets and attend with my daughter. Great touch with everyone receiving the gift bag!

  • An Unforgettable Night

by Trina on 5/4/25Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

What I love about Mel Robbins is that she's so down-to-earth and relatable. That's why so many people have been touched by her book, "The Let Them Theory."It resonates on so many levels, and the fact that she has been down in the dumps financially and emotionally and dug herself and her family out of that darkness is a testament to her strength and her mindset. She advises from a place of deep self-knowledge. What she speaks about is nothing new - she didn't reinvent the wheel - but she distills it in a way that is so easy to grasp and put into practice. I was thrilled to be able to see her in person at her very first show of her book tour. The energy in the room was palpable! She is the best!

  • Loved Mel Robbins!

Loves the energy Mel Robbins and her kids brought to the stage. She is so relatable and raw when telling her story.

  • Fell a bit short

by Rd on 5/4/25Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

First hour was great. Second hour fell a bit short and lacked Mel energy and deeper wisdom. Appreciated she included kids, but was looking for more in depth the Let Me part of being an adult and not emergent adults. Love Mel - but did not build in second half as I would have hoped.
