Entire family totally enjoyed this show! Comical and very entertaining!!!!
Fun experience! We all enjoyed the play and had a fabulous evening!
The message of Mean Girls rings loud and proud. We loved this show. Fantastic performances and creative choreography. We especially loved the transitions. It’s a must see for anyone who will be or has been a teenager!
The play stuck really close to the movie. It left all of the iconic lines from the movie which was very appreciated as a big fan of the original movie. It was different at the same time because very few scenes changed to get the story to move faster, but was good so it didn’t drag on. All the songs went well with each situation that was important. There’s a good mixture of slow & upbeat songs. It was all catchy & is still stuck in my head after 3 days. It’s enjoyable for fans of the movie, but at the same time understandable for people who haven’t. I would go see again.
Excellent Broadway play. The characters were wonderful. The cast was phenomenal! The staff took very good care of us. Well worth the money.
Fantastic show, we really enjoyed it. From start to finish it was very entertaining.
I love this musical so much! It has and amazing cast, wonderful songs and was written by our queen Tina Fey. I had listened to the cast recording on repeat before I saw it and loved it. It’s so fun and upbeat and hilarious. Definitely five stars!!! 🥰🥰
It was pretty good but there was a long list of stand ins! We were hoping to see the main cast but what can you do
I saw Mean Girls initially in DC when it premiered on Halloween night in 2017. Back then the show ran long, had unnecessary long songs, lines that didn’t stick, and some characters that were flat out unlikable. I am happy to report that the issues with the DC premiere have been fixed and Mean Girls on Broadway is a real hit! It has great songs that get stuck in your head (in a good way), a clever book written by Tina Fey, fun and likable characters, and fresh/interesting choreography. Overall, it’s super funny musical and a great way to spend time in NYC.
I loved loved the show. It was one of my favorites and we have seen many. Least favorite was the group of women in front of us who didn’t know proper theater etiquette and kept talking loudly during the show. Second half was better when they moved their seating around with the most talkative one being further away from us
The show was really good & entertaining! I had five 16 year old girls celebrating a one of their birthdays. They all loved the show. Thanks for a memorable night!
It was really funny, stage setting was colorful, costuming current. Messages about social media relatable. Loved the very talented singers and thought it was better that the movie.
Do not miss this show! Brought my 12 yo daughter who knew every word to every song, and the awe on her face was something I’ll never forget. Felt like Tina Fey was right there narrating, the script and lyrics are so damn funny and relevant and smart. The cast is stunning and powerful. I’d like to take my daughter twelve more times!!
I enjoyed the movie but this show delivered the message direct to teenagers' core. Tina Fey is effortlessly empowering. The songs are eloquently written, theater wreaks positive feminine vibe and cast performed well. I want to watch again.
It was fantastic!!! I wish I could go see it again.
Going in I wasn't sure how the movie would play out on stage. I was overwhelmingly impressed. They did a phenominal job taking the movie and updating it to make it current and relevant in today's world. Strong messaging around social media impacts, bullying and women lifting each other up. Highly recommend. I plan to go back with my nieces as I think it is a message that all young ladies should hear.
Took my 17 and 18 yr old daughters. It was fun, the singing was awesome! Sat left orchestra row L they were great seats. I wouldn't take kids under 13 or 14 due to sexual content and foul language.
This has nothing to do with the acting or the singing. Really enjoyed the actors, their casualness with their roles. The songs were great. The problem was the audio. Too loud! Ear-splitting! I had to cover my ears a few times because it hurt. I wasn’t the only one doing this. I looked around and saw some people doing the same thing. And I’m a middle school teacher so noise doesn’t bother me that much. This was a technical problem that should have been adjusted. It really brought the singing quality down a notch, which is unfortunate because you can see the actors are really having a great time onstage.
Fantastic show! Funny, thought provoking and honest. The cast did an amazing job! The dance routines were incredible! Side note: I happen to sit next to a group of young girls that seemed to be between 4-6 grade. The content of the show seemed to be a little mature for them. During one crass scene I glanced over and the girls had a bewildered 😳 look on their faces. Although the theme of the show (bully) is known to all kids, the intended audience is definitely high schoolers.
