Patti LaBelle was amazing! She was a force in those 7” heels. Her voice is still Fabulous! Frankie Beverly and Maze were outstanding also.

I have followed Frankie and Maze for so many years I don't even know how many times I've seen them. Frankie and Maze always put on an outstanding and awesome performance. I LOVE MAZE. I'm still waiting on a new album. It was the first time I've seen Patti LaBelle and she was awesome too. We truly enjoyed the concert!!!!

  • Frankie Bevery and Maze was than worth it.

Frankie Beverly and Maze has always given great shows. Once they step out on stage you can't sit down the first few notes of the music everybody gets up sing, dance and feel the love from the stage. Frankie's voice was off because of the weather changes but we didn't care. There were all age groups represented and all were enjoying the show and it was worth more that what we could ever pay to see these musical legends.

  • Maze was awesome as always

Patti Labelle was her usual self. Entertaining & energetic. Frankie Beverly & Maze put on the best party (show) very time they take the stage! We see them very time they're in L. A. for the past 20+ years. Keep performing, we'll keep coming. Whoever hasnt been a part a Maze concert is missing out.

  • Frankie Beverly & Maze Concert

by ShayLarue on 1/18/11Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Frankie Beverly n Maze concert is a "YOU DONT WANNA MISS IT EVENT!!! If you have never been to one of his concerts go the very next time you see he will be in town. The concert and all of their concerts pull people together we share a close bond with no color lines we are just singing, laughing, you may even want to cry at times just a good feeling. Frankie is so loving, and it a cultural event. They sang We are one, & Happy feelings, Joy and Pain, and I want to thank you is spiritual. The band was off the hook "OMG" they sounded great ,I did not want to leave. I was so filled with the spirit when the concert was over I just sat there in my seat. Next time Frankie is in Town you do not want to miss him...it is a concert that you will never forget!!! I never sat down in my seat.

Frankie Beverly was fantastic as usual. I wish Patti had done some of her other songs, but I guess she couldn't upstage Frankie. Although she was good she wasn't her usual great. If she had been it would have been a 5 star night.

  • Maze Frankie Beverly wPatti LaBelle

by JMBT on 1/18/11Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing is the word. At first I could not see a concert with two such diverse sounds but it worked. It was absolutely fantastic. I just sat in amazement at the clarity in Patti's voice. Her style and movement at age 66. Woah!!! We should all be so lucky. She is not only talented but beautiful. I saw Patti back in the 80s when she would play with Luthor Vandross. I was so proud to be watching her up close and personal and thriving so many years later. Frankie Beverly and Maze. Wow!!! What can I say, Amazing, Spectacular, Fantastic!!!!. What a show. I have not seen Maze since the 80s at Long Beach Jazz Festival. They are simply one of my favorite groups. Frankie Beverly's got it going on. I love the way he moves, sultry soul singer. His voice is so smooth and effortless. He is simply the best!! and getting better. My husband and I were really impressed and glad we came out.

I'm a 57 years old man. This was the 1st time in my life that I've attended a Maze concert. I can recall the 1st time that I heard their music on a local radio station here in Los Angeles. The song that was being played @ that time was "Happy feelings". By my being at this concert, I was afforded the awsome opportunity to reconnect, and reexperience the many plesant moments which all the music that Maze, released over the years, directly contributed to a very special part of my personal development regarding my becoming a very charming an responsible man. Thanks Maze, 4 the many years of awsome music that You produced and gave to America the beautiful.......

Let me just say, SELL-OUT! I didn't see not an empty seat in the whole place. I had a ball. Patti Labelle was good but Maze was goodER! I came comfortable and enjoyed every minute Maze was on stage. I can't name a favorite. I loved every song they sang. Everyone was having a good time. When you go see Maze, you'll always run into someone you haven't seen in awhile, Maze is like a reunion. The show was GREAT!

Well let me see I thinks that it's time for Beverly to retire singing the man can't KEEP GOING THE WAY HE IS GOING AND HIS BAND TRIED TO COVER UP FOR HIM THIS TIME NOT good at all. Now Patty was the bomb the woman know she has it going on and she she will always in my book. We as Black Women (Queens) know we can do anything we put our mind to that's how God has blessed us for so many years. Now the show was good just that Beverly was not at his best this time but I will still go out to see him.
