A Night to Remember... The Best Concert of All Times!!!!
The concert was literally one non-stop party for four +hrs. It was the best concert I have EVER been to and well worth the money. I thought that Jay Anthony Brown was funny on the TJMS Show, but he is far funnier in person. My stomach literally hurt from laughter! I grew up listening to Frankie Beverly and Maze, and seeing this concert was on my bucket list. Frankie's voice was medicine to my soul. I will NEVER forget this experience!
Maze was awesome as usual. The band was on point as well as Frankie giving us another great show. J Anthony Brown was gross, insulting, not funny and needed to stay at home.I hope he didn't get paid to do what he did. Should have used local talent to mc. I would have paided double if it was Sinbad. Thanks Maze for not disappointing. Don't bring J the next time, his cussing and nastiness was way over the top. Everybody don't like that
Truly amazing. A soul legend. Frankie Beverly is a spiritual singer. His music is heart felt.
This is the most spirit filed event I have ever been to. My wife and I got all dressed up and we had the time of our life. Jut thinking about the aviance the beauty of my wife and the sound of Frankie singing " I want to Thank You" bring tears of joy to my eyes.
Man my wife and I attend the concert in Houston Texas on February 14, 2011 in the Hobby Center. This was the best sound to hear Frankie in the Hobby Center. This brother and te band really worked hard, I couldn't sit down. That reminded me of the old Summitt in Houston back in 1977 the last I went to see MAZE they're still the BEST band in the land you should have been to this concert at the Hobby Center. The sound best I've ever heard. I've heard in Va. Hampton road, Va,. Scope and La. Super Dome never better than on Feb. 14 2011 in Houston on that night. That my boy and always will be, silks, silk soul singers just like what Marvin Gaye told me too do many years ago. Frankie thank I will never miss another one hear on V-day if you are here in H- town.
maze was the best concert i have seen in awhile i go t about 4 a year my husband also enjoyed it
Awesome, amazing, very exciting. Kep the Audience in the groove
Maze was incredible. well worth the price to see them. would go see them again anytime.
THE CONCERT WAS AWESOME!! I ENJOYED IT SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH. SEVERAL FRIENDS FORM WORK WENT WITH US AND WE ARE STILL TALKING ABOUT IT......
THE WHOLE SHOW WAS EXCELLENT. BOTH ARTISTS PERFORMED TO THE MAX. THE WHOLE PLACE WAS ON THEIR FEET AND SINGING.
Patti looks amazing for 66 (or even for 46)! Sounds beautiful - better than on wax! Frankie Beverly & Maze, as always, put on a great show!
The concert was amazing...Patti was unforgettable..she is a true entertainer. Frankie and Maze set the bar extremely high for bands and entertainers...
Patti and maze featuring Frankie Beverly performances were no way shorter than perfection! I was greatly entertained.
I have been going to see Frankie Beverly and ever year since 1996 i have not missed a show and in the two years he has been performing my birthday weekend. I can't think of a better way to bring in a new year older I sing every song and on my feet from start to end love maze for life.
I have gone to see Maze feat. Frankie Beverly almost every year since I was in the 8th Grade(My first concert in Bham ,AL..The Airlines Lost or was dalayed with Frankie's "White Cap" but You know the show went on!!!) Fastforward, I just celebrated my 47th Birthday on Christmas eve and my 20 yr old daughter , who is away in school at Shaw University, could not have given me a better gift!! I can tell Mr.Beverly is getting a little more seasoned because his voice is not as strong as it use to be...That being said, I will pay to see them again!!! My Prayer is , one day I'll be able to take my daughter and son to a MAZE concert; I'd like for them to have the MAZE experience!!!
Good show but I did not like the stage arrangement because we were seated in the pit all the way to our left of the stage. There where stage monitors place there that blocked out view. We could no see the drummer and other muscians who were playing on stage. Maze's, stage arrangement was a semi-circle with percussionist set up at the very front of the stage both to the left and right this made the viewing angle very bad. It was difficult to see Frankie Beverly. Mr. Beverly did not work the stage very well at all he perform his entire show in the center of the stage between the two percussionist. Also there was a sub speaker array set up right in front of where we were sitting this made it very difficult the hear vocals of both Frankie Beverly and Patti Labelle.
My friend and I had the best time at the concert. We will be attending all concerts with these performers.
The show was amazing as usual. I have seen Frankie every year for 16 years all over the country. He never fails to put on a great show! Miss Patti was fantastic - I love to hear her sing.
I would return for a "do-over" every time for sure.
