Mayer Hawthorne Tickets

My first time seeing Mayer Hawthorne and definitely ready to again! The only way I can really describe his show and music is soulful, smooth and sophisticated!

MH puts on a really great show.....25 songs! Great energy. Unfortunately MH was undermiked and the bass was so high your organs vibrated. Really interfered with the enjoyment of the show.

The 3rd time I've seem MH in NYC. The pre show music, using the term loosely, was terrible! What were they thinking? Mediocre DJ at best and a 3rd rate organ/singer that was aggrevating. Everyone near me was dumbfounded, how could MH approve of this scowling? MH was decent but the sound was cleaner at Webster Hall. Not sure how much of this was due to his new music, but it was a let down. The sound was overly blended and not as distinct as the other times. The energy level was good and I would likely see MH again.

I've been to a lot of shows in my life but none that had the energy of Mayer Hawthorne on Friday night. From the DJ to the opening act, Terminal 5 was moving!

Mayer was great and so was his band. My one complaint was Mayer should fire his sound guy unless the guy came from the club. Bass player(Gene Simmons) and drummer where far to loud. This caused Mayer's and his backup singer's vocals to be lost for most of the night. His voice is a strong falsetto. You want to hear his singing and lyrics.

Third time seeing Mayer Hawthorne Iand he is simply a pleasure to listen to and watch perform. Mayer is the best artist to come along on years. I listen to his music at home, in the car and at work. I've been going to concerts since the 60's and he is one of the best. Can't wait to see him again.

Mayer put on a great show. Full of energy, crammed in as many songs as possible. His band was top notch. The Paradise, however, thought it would be a good idea to make the audience listen to their insufferable house DJ for AN HOUR before the show started. The opening act, mind you, only played for 30 minutes and Mayer's set was 75 min. The DJ had no talent and couldn't mix songs to save his life. People were plugging their ears, sitting on the floor, and playing games on their phones. It was tiring to listen to. TL;DR: Mayer was great, the Paradise should fire their house DJ

This is my second show watching Mayer Hawthorne perform. Both shows were entertaining and a lot of fun. The whole crew were great! I would definitely watch his concert again and hopefully soon! I ordered the vinyl package that came with the two shot glass and the mini vinyl and his tshirt. Comfortable! Although it shrank a lot I will still wear it. Overall, I had a fantastic time!

Fun performer and great sound! He's very talented as well as his band.

This was one of the best concerts I've been to. Love shows with live bands. Can't wait till they come back to the bay area. I didn't want the show to end.

My two friends and I had a blast at this concert. The venue, the lighting, the music... It all came together like it was meant to be. And it was! As the songs continued, more and more people came closer and closer to the stage. It was drawing them in, we all were craving more. Everyone had ample dancing room along with very nice waitresses selling drinks in the standing room only areas. All in all, an amazing performance by the opener and headliner. Definitely a must see. And a must to experience. Thank you Fox Theater for providing this unforgettable night of my life.

Mayer Hawthorne is the funkiest brother to do the damn thing.

I thought sound would get better after the DJ and opening act, but alas, not. Things were so bad, we left early after only 25 minutes of Meyer Hawthorne's performance. We had really been looking forward to seeing him for the first time,but just couldn't take the punishment

As always Mr Hawthorne set starts with a familiar song and quickly moves into his new album, he did a great set merging some older music to a James Brown tempo had the crowd really moving! Following up with some of older and newer music, he and his band are excellent! This is the second time seeing him and her never disappoints!!

A white boy with pure soul...loved his band - loved the venue - cool vibe with really good energy. Didn't know that there would be two warm ups and that the show didn't actually start until 9:30 - wouldn't have hurried through dinner to make the event. We will definitely return when Mayer does!! Hurry back!

excellent concert show...........................if you forget about the wait! Show was to start at 8pm, the opening act didn't start until 9! And for a standing room GA fee that's a loooooong time to be standing waiting for the show to start beginning to end. that's my only complaint, like I said the show itself was excellent!

Parents night out for 8 of us and we wanted to make sure we had a good night. Thank you Mayer Hawthorne! You did. It disappoint! Your show was amazing! Everything was perfect! You were on time, the price we paid was reasonable, the venue was beautiful, it was on a First Friday's event in Oakland where we were able to walk around and get some food before hand, and you're show was amazing! Not to mention he played over about 20 minutes than what he was supposed to! I had the greatest time! It was such a fun experience. I'd do it all over again! Still smiling from ear to ear!

I've seen Mayer Hawthorne in the past, but once again he just topped himself. What a great show definitely a must see, I would pay and travel to see this again!!!!

Mayer Hawthorne is an amazing artist and put on a great show. All his music is catchy and makes you want to get up and dance. I recommend him to anybody that locks old school Soul/R&B.
