Mayer Hawthorne and the County Tickets

My friends and I have all seen a lot of shows and on our way out of the show I asked each of them to name 3 shows better than this one. None of us could. I was absolutely stunned. One of the best shows I have ever seen. He comes alive in person. I just can't say enough. I'm sorry I didn't catch a show earlier on his tour, as I would have planned my travel schedule around towns he's playing in. DO NOT MISS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SEE THIS GUY!

pretty damn great supergood warmup bands allen stone is an excellent soul singer ... surprising and excellent for Hawthorne the set was very cool like a 60's tv set or something i think that mayer needs some black female singers to back him it was a little santitized ... a little too cute i need more funk in the music ... more blackness ... more hiphop ... if you know what i mean ... excellent venue but also needs a real dance floor ... overall supergreat ... for real john

Mayer Hawthorne's concert on 6-17 in Napa was a fun, fabulous trip into retro Motown/r& b/beach music. He was incredibly engaging and brought the crowd into the fun. Great band, great songs, great fun. Opening acts- Hardin and Allen Stone. I had never heard Allen Stone before but he was great. Another great new/retro r&b/blues set.

Mayer Hawthorne was simply amazing. But that's not all, there was Harlan and Allen Stone who were both unbelievable. They could each be doing their own shows, but we got to see them for opening acts. The venue was comfortable and small, so I was able to get some autographs right on the stage during intermission. The best part, besides Hawthornes' singing of course, was seeing Mayer before the show. The show was at 8 and we got there at 6ish and he was walking around the front of the theater and so comfortable. I then saw him eating in the theater snack area about two feet from us. Overall, Harlan killed the guitar and was stunning, Stone had amazing vocals and a great band, and as you would expect, Mayer was perfect. It was a great way to spend Fathers Day with my pops.

I just discovered Mayer in April after seeing him perform a short set in Napa. I immediately bought both of his albums and bought a ticket to see him at the Fillmore. I had no idea how much he was going to blow me away! He interacts with the audience well, Mayer and his band are so in sync with each other from dance moves to harmonizing together so well, and I did not stop dancing once! He has such a presence to him and is unlike any other singer i've ever seen in concert. When I got home from the concert, I bought a ticket to see him the next night in Napa because his show blew me away so much. I hope that I can see him again soon!

We love to go to Variety to hear music. It is intimate, friendly, and fun. The opening act was great- really unique. We LOVED the Mayer show- especially Hennie and Gingerale!! The Walk live was pretty awesome, too. A great show and great energy.

If you don't know about Mayer Hawthorne, you need to! Google him, You Tube him...find and listen to his music on iTunes. He doesn't sound like most of this music today (which all sounds the same)....and its awesome!

The Mayer show was a blast! Also an added bonus; The Stepkids. They were so awesome I bought the album that night. Very nice bunch who were willing to sign bought CD and talk a bit.

He's an awesome artist. He's an awesome performer.

I hadn't been to a live concert in quite a awhile but this was truly a great show. The acoustics were very good in the theater and there was a small section in the front of the stage to dance and take pictures. Mayer Hawthorne gave a wonderful show.
