Maybe Happy Ending is a futuristic new Broadway musical by Will Aronson and Hue Park. The one-act show, which originally premiered in South Korea in 2016, tells the story of Oliver and Claire, two robots created to help humans in late 21st century Seoul. When both are abandoned by their owners, the pair develop a connection that pushes against their programming concerning love and what they expect from their battery-charged lives before they become obsolete. Starring Darren Criss and Helen J. Shen with direction by Tony winner Michael Arden, Maybe Happy Ending is now playing at the Belasco Theatre.

I never wanted this to end. I saw this wonderful months ago and still think about it. The cast is incredible, music lovely, and the message timeless. A true parable on life. Everyone needs to see this beauty. Only other time I felt this good after a show was when I went to see Come From Away. Please don’t miss this.
