It was an awesome experience. We had 5th row on the side of the stage. We can't wait for him to come back to Detroit.
Only an hour with Matt...?? Not enough for how much these tickets cost! I think he did better in a smaller venue.
This is my second time seeing Matt Rife live and he never disappoints. He’s even funnier in person and his crowd work is insane. I went with my mom and she didn’t hold back laughing at all!
Was a great show, this being my 2nd. MR was definitely awesome. Absolutely love his crowd work. It shows how he relates to people and uses his with, sense of humor and experiences to go with the moment! The 1st show i saw was in Niagara Falls, he was definitely exhausted and still pulled it 9ff! Thank you! I brought my daughter and it was an incredible mom-daughter night! Regretting not buying tickets to bring my son to the upcoming Hamilton show!!! Keeping an eye out for those tickets!
So my experience the show was excellent. My seating was terrible. I paid good money for Row C seat two and three and if somebody was in row C with seat number 12 they sat closer to the stage then the people with the lower number I believe that works at show marked seats incorrectly, and the people that paid to be closer to the stage was sat farther away, and that was the real disappointing part of attending the show
It was a good overall experience. The venue was good and each of comics were entertaining. Matt was extremely funny and knows how to play to his crowd.
The sound was painfully loud for the openers and the music. Matt and friends were all funny and it was a great show beyond the obnoxiously loud sound. The high volume kind of ruined the beginning of the show for my friend and I.
Matt is an unbelievable comedian. He and his openers had us laughing all night! The stage set up was awesome! I would definitely be back to see him!
What I enjoy about Matt Rife is his comedy as he interacts with the crowd and there wasn’t much of that at all. When I arrived at my seats and seen the stage was surrounded by chairs I felt it was going to be the comedy of Matt’s that I enjoy but it wasn’t until the end of the show that he in interacted with one person in the crowd. After that interaction he accepted 2 gifts from people in the crowd and made a couple of jokes about those but that was it.
Matt Rife was awesome - atmosphere is great, Matt was hilarious and overall it was a 10/10 experience!
This was definitely adult entertainment and not fit for kids or those easily offended. The atmosphere was light, and engaging. Very funny show. Would recommend!
I was really expecting what I see on his Instagram clips, where he is doing crowd work. That was not what his show was. He only did about 10 of his 60 minutes on crowd work. His material for the other time was just not that funny. I wish he had done more crowd work because those 10 minutes were the funniest of his routine. We thought one of his openers was very good though.
Matt Rife was AMAZING! Line up was great, host was funny and kept show moving well. Only suggestion is to give a little more room in seats on the floor, men are not small and there is not room if you are stuck sitting between two of them.
I’ve seen all my favorite comedians over the years, and this was without a doubt the best show I’ve been to. We sat in the front row of the balcony, and we could see everything and hear him perfectly! I thought it was especially hilarious (and thoughtful) when he talked about Detroit, Lansing & Kalamazoo. Also, his opening acts were sooooo good!!! 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
We went to see Matt Rife, and he was absolutely hilarious! He had us laughing the entire time, there wasn’t a dull moment in the whole show. All of his openers were fantastic too, which made the night even better. We can’t wait until he comes back so we can see him again!
The MC needs smaller pants, the funniest comedian was the Derrick Stroup. Matt's Amsterdam bit went way too long. He advertises his crowd work but only gave it maybe 5 mins. All in all a disappointing show.
The show was a good time but wasn’t worth the money spent. I enjoyed the last opening act more than the headliner. While there were a couple good bits, I was disappointed by Matt Rife’s set.
Lots of great comedians Great interaction with the crowd. I will definitely come see him again. Matt Rife is one of my favorite comedians of all time.
We absolutely had a blast. Kept us laughing the whole time. Can’t wait to go back and see him again.
What a great night of lots of fun and laugher!! Matt Rife was absolutely amazing and so damn funny! Not to mention not bad on the eyes. LOL! The comedians opening up for him were great as well. I will definitely go see Matt again.
