Matilda the Musical (Touring) Tickets

The children were extremely adept at singing, as well as the physical demands of the production. The choreography was superb, along with a few special effect surprises. I felt as if I was on Broadway, with a great seat at that! Everyone on stage was a true professional, and my 15-year-old daughter loved it.

So much fun with such amazing actors! Energetic from start to finish. Never a dull moment with Miss Trumbull in the house!

This was my very first show, my daughter saw it on broadway and wanted me to see it. I was so glad I went half way into the second song- I was already trying to decide if I could bring my other kids back before it closed. Great cast!

I enjoyed every minute. I would have enjoyed it even more if subtitles had been available so I could understand the dialogue and lyrics. The young lady that played Matilda was outstanding.

We did not care for the show. The music was unmemorable, the dialogue harsher than the movie and considerably less funny. Matilda's powers did not manifest effectively, and there were not many special affects, though plenty of strobe lights. The young lady who played the lead was very, very good (alternating leads depending on the performance) esp given what she had to work with, the adult performers were fair at best.

Funny, witty, sad in some parts,good for all ages !

I enjoyed the show. The one playing Matilda at this performance was great. My only complaint was that sometimes I couldn't understand what they were saying.

I took my eight year old niece to see Matilda and she was completely amazed and enjoyed the performance so much, that she had me download all the music. The cast entertained us with an outstanding performance, beyond words!

This Musical is on the top off my list! Was IMPECCABLE! The lights! The stage! The actors! The kids!

A friend recommended Matilda to me. I was reluctant to see it, because I thought it was a typical children's show with silly comedy (I don't have children). However, I changed my mind when my friend described it briefly to me. It really was so much more than I expected. It's such a great story with lots of twists and turns. It was tender, sad, funny and beautiful. I highly recommend it -- even if you don't have children.

I was probably expecting a better play since critics had compared it with the Lion King. The actors were great but the music was not so high up there.

The cast of young thespians, along with some more seasoned, all did a sensational job bringing this story to life! It was fantastic!!

This was a great play for the family. My kids still want to listen to the cd and recall scenes and sing along.

i was expecting much more from the artist and the production. the sound was pretty bad, it very low. we could not hear and we were sitting in orchestra row V

Across the board the cast was top flight and the production very professional. Definitely Broadway caliber. Only criticism is of the sound quality at the Theater. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful structure and comfortable with what appear to be great sightlines throughout. But, during this show it was difficulkt at times (esp. before the intermission) to clearly hear the cast and understand what they were saying/singing. I have to attirbute that more to the acoustics then to the cast.

The acting was great and the choreography was spot-on and very creative. I found the storyline however very dark and disturbing. I left the theatre feeling agitated and a bit depressed.

This performance was beyond my expectations. The set and choreography were phenomenal and the singing and acting was on par with other performances that are currently performing on Broadway: Amazing!

It was a good show but sometimes it got to long. Also the quality of sounds was not that good

Although my family loved it, apart from thinking that the theatre was toooo cold, my grandson thought that Matilda did not project her voice that well, and questioned the audio. Just saying.
