    Amazing Concert!

by Emma333 on 7/28/17Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - Murphys

The venue was intimate and the acoustics were fantastic. Counting Crows were great, and Matchbox 20 was amazing. Rob Thomas gave an energetic, nonstop performance. A tour de force!

    MB20 On Point!

by Psycho5 on 7/28/17Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - Murphys

Rob Thomas and his mates sounded so crisp and good, and carried the night like a headliner should. They played 22 MB20 songs without having to rely on solo or cover material. The band was full of energy and in the moment.

    Could not have been better

by DannyDisappointed on 7/28/17Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - Murphys

Counting Crows were good enough that I thought, "what the .... is Matchbox Twenty going to do." Then they came out and did it. Unbelievable show. Really felt like two concerts in one show. Hats off to both of these bands. They rocked the house.

by Epouncey on 7/28/17Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - Murphys

I knew it would be good but it was even better than expected. Also great sound engineering and overall venue. Easy out of the parking lot. The bands were perfect and just great musicians and story tellers. Love! Love! Love!

    Wow

by Jaynestown on 7/24/17Sunlight Supply Amphitheater - Ridgefield

We already knew Matchbox Twenty would deliver- they always do. High energy performance, Rob hits every note, incredible performers. Can I talk about Kyle? How amazing it was that he opened with his band Rivers & Rust (Marshall has a wonderful voice, and the band was also on point - can't wait for their album) and went on to do his full set with Matchbox?? He also took time between shows to meet people/sign autographs. AND - he recognized my husband and me from an earlier tweet about our anniversary - I can't recognize friends in the grocery store without expecting them and I'm not famous. Surreal experience. Counting Crows - I did not expect much. I love listening to Adam speak, he's fun, but when he toured with Rob Thomas last year, I wasn't impressed with his live performance. WOW - this time he was performing to the level of MB20. Sounded like his albums, sounded like he still enjoyed his songs, and the crowd was responding in kind. (I know he has a disorder that affects his performances sometimes - it was great to see him in good form). Also, the music in Counting Crows songs is just really well done. Wish I had more money, so I could travel and watch them perform more venues.

    Love Matchbox 20

by Anonymous on 7/22/17Sunlight Supply Amphitheater - Ridgefield

The only bad thing I can say is that the concert wasn't long enough. I could have listened to Matchbox 20 for hours and hours!

    Matchbox 20 Terrific!!

by Shucker69 on 7/21/17White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

Long time fan of the Counting Crows, seen them many, many times and always enjoyed it. Surprisingly they seemed to lack energy and were in a word "meh" this time. Matchbox 20, on the other hand, blew me away. I have always liked them, enjoyed a number of songs but I was concerned how they would be live. My concerns were quieted from the get go as they rocked start to finish. High energy and electrified the crowd. I had no idea how many of their songs I knew and really liked. Song after song throughout the whole show. I can remember thinking after about the first hour or so that I wasn't sure they had any more that I didn't know. Couldn't have been more wrong. Right through the encore was friendly, familiar song that I was delighted to see them do live. Terrific performance.

    Matchbox still brings it!

by matchbox2okid on 7/21/17White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

I haven't seen this band in 14 years but it's like no time has passed. They have so much energy, are so exited to play and want to make you just as excited. This set was similar to others on the tour except they swapped out two songs for "So Sad So Lonely" (which rocked!!) and "Shame." Paul played drums, guitar (sometimes almost at once) and piano. Kyle's guitar sounds phenomenal live. Really high-energy set. Rob said he knows that "nothing ever happens on a Tuesday," but they were there to change it. Played 10/12 from Yourself or Someone Like You to commemorate 20 years of the album. Would love to see them again on this tour.

Matchbox was amazing! Counting Crows meh.

by HulaGirl4545 on 7/21/17White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

Rob Thomas knows how to entertain and sing. Love this band. Counting Crows sounded good but the lead singer doesn't seem into it, which is a shame.

    Get there early

by KJinSea on 7/21/17White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

Performances of the co-headliners were as expected. But note! Rivers and Rust, the opening act, is a duo with Kyle Cook, lead guitarist of Matchbox Twenty. They also appear at the main merchandise table after their set. So if you want the maximum Matchbox Twenty experience, be sure to be there on time! (We got there late and missed them, thanks to White Rivers' oh-so-inconvenient location in the boonies of the Muckleshoot Indian Reservation.)

    Great Show

by joekwaxem on 7/21/17White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

Matchbox 20 did not disappoint, (they never do). The band is as "tight" as ever. River & Rust was a pleasant surprise, of course a number of years ago Matchbox 20 introduced us to Maroon 5... White River Amphitheatre is a good venue, great sound-good seating options....However I thought the food & drink selections were grossly overpriced...I didn't think a venue could be more expensive than a major league sporting event...and the food quality did not match what I get either Mariners or Seahawks...this will make me rethink attending concerts at this venue.

    Great Show

by LovingMB20 on 7/21/17White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

I thought the concert was outstanding, I have only heard Mr. Jones by Counting crows, but I thought their music was real good also, and as for Matchbox 20, Oh my, I was completely impressed with the music they played and the stage show it's self........I was standing the whole time they were performing. The only was it could have been better would have been with a VIP meet and greet but they priced those way out of the price range I would be willing to pay for it................but all the groups I thought were good and gave a good performance, If you get a chance to see this show, I would recommend it if you like Counting Crows and Matchbox 20.......

A dream 20yrs in the making!

    by mandy822 on 7/17/17Rogers Place - Edmonton

I've been a huge fan of Matchbox Twenty's since the beginning but they've never played close enough for me to get to. This concert was worth the wait! Well worth the money, and the travel time, and I'd do it all over again!

Matchbox great, Counting Crows, not so much.

by NJBYRD on 3/29/17PNC - Holmdel NJ

I have seen Matchbox Twenty 6 times, great band. Always a fun time and great music. Matchbox is so much better then Rob solo. Now Counting Crows, saw them twice and wish they were not touring with Matchbox. BOOOORING!!!! I am trying to find out who opens and if Matchbox goes on 2nd I will party a little longer in the parking lot and pass on Counting Crows. 5 stars on Matchbox, 2 on Counting Crows.
