Highly entertaining. Martin Short is multi talented. Had no idea he won a Tony but after hearing him sing I can understand why he won! Nonstop energy he performed every character he has ever created. Just as funny as ever.

What more can you say about a legend? He certainly did not disappoint and it was more than apparent that he gave his all. It was my first time seeing Martin Short live and did not know what to expect. I can honestly say I laughed the whole 90 minutes he was on stage. Highly recommended!

One man, so many faces! All of them funny, witty, and entertaining. The guy can sing, too. I loved this show.

Martin Short is a wonderful comedic talent. From the moment he takes the stage, his jokes have you laughing resoundingly. His comedic characters are funny and brilliant. He also knows how to belt out a tune. See his show and be prepared to have a very enjoyable evening.

Although the show was very entertaining for the cost of the ticket I would have thought the performance would have been longer. The show was barely over an hour so I do not feel it was worth the money.

Martin Short was witty funny at times but the show was short it was about an hour and a half I thought it would be at least two hours and He didn't have enough stage time with his comedic genius I think he's more of her over a physical comedic genius than he is. on stand up my entire family loves him in his movies and we'll still go see him anytime

    Always delightfully funny

by jrcli on 5/2/16NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

Martin Short never fails to delight. With his quirky characters and deprecating manner, he can get away with saying anything. We all loved the show (two long time fans and one new fan).

    Love him even though......

by labmom13 on 5/2/16NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

What can I say, I love Martin short, I see all his movies, I watch him whenever he is on a late night show, and I really laugh at everything he says and does, and I read and truly enjoys his book, so naturally when it was announced he would be performing at the theater at westbury, I bought tickets and was so looking forward to seeing him. To put it mildly, I felt sorry for him! The energy and likeability is there, the material, not so. It's obvious that he has some issues with Chevy chase that are years old, but still fresh in his mind! I personally don't want to hear about it. He did go into characters, the first one was him in a nude body suit with things drawn on it, it was an embarrassment! We would have gotten up to,leave at that point, but we were in the middle of the row in the front! Next came Ed grimly, awful, followed by jiminy glick, interviewing the famous (?) owner of a LI comedy club, so bad that even he knew it was bad! Sorry Martin, I truly think you are a fantastic comedian, maybe you just need better writer, and someone to be honest with you!

    Martin Short Live

by Diane0927 on 5/2/16NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

Loved this show! Martin Short had the audience laughing for 90 minutes straight. He showcased his characters, interspersed with movie and TV clips, and live singing and cavorting. He was confident, relaxed, gracious and outrageous and appeared to have as much fun as we in the audience did.

    Martin Short is genius!

by Pauline113 on 5/2/16NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

Martin Short had us laughing continuously throughout the show! He has always been one of my favorite entertainers and comedians. I absolutely loved how he incorporated the videos from his many characters, both film and Saturday Night Live. All of our favorite characters that he has created were part of the show, especially Ed Grimley! Loved the interaction between him and Jeff the piano player. One of the best comedy shows I have attended. I have his book sitting on my nightstand, and will start reading it now! Just love him!

Martin Short - He is funny-funny, and he can sing!

by CavanGirl24 on 6/18/14Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

Non-stop fun, real stage presence - energy, wit and what a voice! Note: if MS can see you from the stage, recommend not dressing like a bowler.

Martin Short is a pro from start to finish! I haven't laughed that much in a long time. His well-known characters, the banter with the audience, the singing! You can tell that he loves (and lives) to perform.

    Martin Short

by BMSage on 5/20/14Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

So funny. So smart. So silly. So perfect in what the show's intention was - to make us sit in a darkened theater, forget all our cares and woes and laugh our heads off. Thank you so much Martin Short for delivering your unique brand of humor in a way that let us all feel that it is the most important thing to you. Your talent is amazing, your wit is clever, your crazy antics made us giggle with delight. We know the effort it takes to put this type of show together and "go on the road," but please come back and give us more opportunities to enjoy your specialness.
