My first time at Peabody's in Daytona Beach. Great venue. The people are so hospitable there. And of course, Martin Barre and the boys put on a amazing show. Night to remember.

    Phenomenal!!

by Billy and Jessika on 11/6/23Peabody Auditorium - Daytona Beach

By far one of the best guitar players I've ever seen. I've been to many concerts since the 1970s, including watching Martin play with Jethro Tull at the Miami Jai Alai Fronton in '77. Simply Phenomenal then, and still Phenomenal now!!

    Great show!

by jimbo on 11/6/23Peabody Auditorium - Daytona Beach

His band just keeps getting better and better. The set list is a "must see"for any long time Tull fan. Many rarities are played - along with several that you would expect to see. There is something for everyone!

    Fantastic Night of Jethro Tull

by Eddie on 10/11/23Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - Bethel

This was a fantastic show of Jethro Tull classics. Martin Barre is a terrific performer who has only improved with age. The Bethel Woods event gallery is a wonderful place to see a show with the intimacy you rarely find in other venues. And as always the staff was friendly and helpful.. Definitely a night to remember!

A great show at a beautiful venue

by Matt on 10/11/23Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - Bethel

Martin Barre and his band were amazing reaching back into the Jethro Tull catalog and delivering a very memorable show. The gallery at Bethel Woods is an amazing place to see a show I highly recommended a trip to this wonderful venue not just for a show but also to visit the museum and enjoy the grounds where the legendary Woodstock Festival took place

Awesome intimate show with Martin Barre and his band.

by T. Finn on 10/8/23Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - Bethel

Martin Barre and his band were terrific, delightful, and performed a very entertaining show. They played many songs I haven’t heard for many years and took me on a journey through the years. Martin Barre was very humble and played great, along with his band mates. Great show.

    Nic night out

by Ptb on 10/8/23Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - Bethel

Sound quality was not great in the first set, low frequency boomy feedback made it hard to hear the music, especially the vocals. Improved through the set, and was better second set. Song choice was unexpected and interesting, especially with the narration in between. Great to hear & see a rock & roll legend like Martin Barre up close, giving an excellent performance. The first rock concert I went to was Jethro Tull on the Passion Play tour, so this was a real thrill for me. Dan Crisp did a great job with the vocals, when they could be heard, and the band was tight.

Dark music & Barre was minus touted Jethro Tull association

by SS&A do Barre on 10/8/23Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - Bethel

Love the Events Gallery setting and services. Bethel Woods and Barre’s Jethro Tull promo was misleading (led to thought that his band is legally unable to perform those songs/ sounds). There were only hints of the original sound and riffs. Good musicianship and talent, but without reaching our expectations, we were disappointed and left earlier than most.

    Excellent Band and Venue

by Gum on 6/27/23Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

After leaving Jethro Tull, Martin Barre's found new life. With a simple four piece band he has reinvigorated the Tull classics. His mastery on guitar is so enjoyable without the restraints of the other band leader.

    Great venue great music

by TJR on 6/27/23Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

They left an area open in front of the stage, which allowed the patrons to get great photos and video's. It was done invsuch axway that it didnt interfere with the people who chose to sit in thevfirstvrow of seating. Martin played some of the more obscure Tull gems for over 2 hours. Great music at a great venue at a great ticket price.

    Martin Barre - outstanding guitarist

    by J. D. on 6/27/23Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

The concert was phenomenal. Martin Barre is an outstanding guitarist. The band is equally outstanding, all performing in-step with each other, and clearly enjoying their work! The setlist was fantastic. And the Penn’s Peak venue is outstanding.

Martin Barre is the most underrated guitarist ever. Each tour he brings something new to the mix and even old classics are reinvented, making them fresh and astounding

A great performance at a great venue. But

by Scottsmrnyc on 6/24/23Sony Hall - New York

One complaint I had was that the sound from where we were sitting was about 87 per cent. It could have been a little clearer.

    lifelong dream

by Davew on 6/19/23Sony Hall - New York

i’ve been a Jethro Tull fan for the past 40 years. It was a lifelong dream to see Martin bar. I was brought to tears a couple times from the songs I know it wasn’t Ian Anderson singing, but the singer he had with him was phenomenal, so energetic, so compassionate, I was truly blown away

    Great concert

by Kk on 6/17/23Sony Hall - New York

This was a great concert. Martin Barre and his band played a lot of Jethro Tull music. They didn't play the big Tull hits but it didn't matter. They sounded great.

Brilliant Show......Catch him if you can!

    by J.S.Horton on 3/26/22Tralf - Buffalo

Brilliant show!! The Tralf Music Hall is a super cool, very intimate, cabaret-style venue. Being able to see a rock and roll legend in a venue like this only made it more special. As for the band, Mr. Barre hit the stage with amazing energy and charm. He put on a blistering first set of various songs covering 5 decades of Jethro Tull music. The second set was reserved for the celebration of the Aqualung album which was done in its entirety. There must be a mention of the fantastic musicians Mr. Barre has surrounded himself with for this tour: Dan Crisp on guitar and vocals, Alan Thomson on bass, Darby Todd on drums, as well as, special guest original Jethro Tull drummer, Clive Bunker. What was clear from this show is that this band has fun playing music together. As a member of the crowd it was infectious. Seeing Mr. Barre rip into a solo, pause, look up at the crowd, throw a devious smile to the audience, and then tear into another massive riff was ridiculously fun. He knew where he was going and wanted you to come along for the ride. The double guitar parts of Crisp and Barre added a new element to familiar songs, and when Clive Bunker joined Darby Todd on stage, the double drums thundered through the venue. Alan Thompson's bass was the glue that held it all together and, if you were paying attention, you noticed his jazz inspired bass fills were spectacular. Even if you are not a fan of Jethro Tull, I would still encourage you to see this band of amazing musicians.
