Mariah Carey is a singer, songwriter, actress and author from Huntington, New York. Known for her five-octave vocal range and songwriting prowess, Carey is one of the best-selling artists of all time, with a record 18 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 to her name — the most of any solo artist in music history. Carey got her start at 21 with her debut album Mariah Carey, which featured four consecutive chart-topping hits: “Vision of Love,” “Love Takes Time,” “Someday” and “I Don’t Wanna Cry.” Other albums in Carey’s early discography include Emotions (1991), Butterfly (1997), Rainbow (1999), and Charmbracelet (2002). In the mid-2000s, the singer hit the top of the charts again with her smash albums The Emancipation of Mimi (2005), E=MC2 (2008) and Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel (2009). Billboard named her single “We Belong Together” from The Emancipation of Mimi as the defining song of the decade. Also known as the “Queen of Christmas,” Carey became the first artist to score a No. 1 hit across four consecutive decades when her 1994 holiday single “All I Want for Christmas Is You” hit No. 1 for the first time in late 2019 and early 2020, a full 25 years after its initial release. Mariah’s modern holiday classic has since returned to the summit of the Billboard Hot 100 for five consecutive years running, spending a total of 14 weeks and counting at No. 1.

Mariah's still got an amazing voice and talent. But this concert was too short! she didn't even sing for an hour.
The concert only lasted 1.5 hours. Very short! She didn't sing all of her new songs or the I wanna know what love is which is the title of her CD. She sang somes of her old songs as usual which I love but not many. She sang great like always. She was very good and did put on a good performance. The only bad thing was how short the concert was and how many songs that got missed. For what your spending on the ticket, you would think she would give you a long show. Still love her just wasn't what I expected.
it was a show not to be missed. her voice was pitch perfect.
Enjoyed the concert a lot! She has such an amazing vioce, can't wait until she comes into town again!
<3 her best yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She performed aewsome an left me speechless!!
This was the first time ever seeing Mariah and with all the rumors about her voice not beeing strong like it used to be, I have to say I was a little nervous that I might be disappointed. But let me tell you all those rumors were Very Very WRONG! She was wonderful! She sang every song with all that she had and hit every note perfectly! The concert was filled with energy and every fan was on there feet the whole time!!! She interacted with the crowd the whole time and mad jokes constantly. I absolutely love it and do plan on seeing her again!
Mariah was exceptional. The theater is great for performances. The sound was fantastic. I would highly recommend this venue and Mariah.
the show was so average. the dancers were not good enough and suddenly at some point the stage was full of staff and it was so hard to see mariah then i didnt feel anything special celebrating new year with her but i did it and i didnt regret, it was my first experience to see her live and i enjoyed it of course.
The opening act wasnt to good. It seemed to be some no name group (probably on her sub label) trying to get there name out. Not what I would have expected from somebody as big as Mariah. With that said Mariah herself was pretty good. The singing was excellent. She performered many songs and went on for hours. The only thing wrong with her is that she doesnt perform. She just sits there. At times it became a bit bland but singing made up for that. Bottom line for the Mariah fans out there its a must. Everyones else can buy the CD.
Even now as I type this review 3 days after the show, I'm still blown away. I've been a lamb for a long time now and wasn't too fortunate to ever go to a Mariah Carey show but, this time, nothing could stop me. Especially since I'm a HBF fan club member. For the first time, my eyes saw a vision that would remain my most cherished memory. This beautiful angel descended from above and I could do nothing but stare in awe. On each song, Mariah delivered a crisp and outstanding vocal performance. From Gospel, to R&B, to Pop and everything in between, Mrs. Cannon blew me away! I made a promise to myself that I would never go to a concert unless I saw Mariah first. I'm so happy that my first concert experience was with the woman that I look up to. I pray that I can one day be like her. I know, I'm a male, but in my eyes, she epitomizes music, art and creativity. This angel of a woman inspires me in so many ways. From the way I write, to the way I sing (minus the whistle notes lol) or even the way I speak during a conversation lol. I hope to one day meet her so I can tell her face to face, just how great I think she is. (I think I may meet her. After the concert, I had the same dream twice lol)
Mariah Was amazing! I also attended her Adventures of Mimi concert and this was by far 10 times better!!! Only thing I can say is that it was a short concert! STARTED ALMOST AN HOUR LATE and ended around 10:30. Otherwise it was amazing!!!
Drove from Tampa to see Mariah which she was AWESOME as expected! I feel that she cut her show short tho due to the LACK of energy from the crowd. I have supported Mariah since day 1 back in the 90's and this is the FIRST time I've ever been to a concert where the people thought they were at the movies! I even had a guy yell at me and call me unforgettable names because i would NOT sit down. I finally had security handle him! Mariah is a DIVA and does not deserve the reaction that HOLLYWOOD, Fl gave her! Stick to Tampa next time, we know how to appreciate!
She's an amazing singer and just listening to her sing live was incredible but her back up dancers were very lame to say the least, it look like they were not trying at all.
Mariah has the best voice and in my book nobody else even comes close and her vocals is as good as ever. Her show is not up to speed, her dancer's routines were boring and not creative at all. She should go to a Lady GA GA concert and experiece a real heart pounding show. I have been a Mariah fan since i fist saw her on Good Morning America many years ago, I have her music, posters, her autograph etc, so I am being honest, this was the third concert of hers, that I have attrended over the years and unfortunately, the worst. I paid $100.00 for my seat at the Hard Rock Hollywood, and the seats were close, but we could not see her at all. People were standing on their seats in order to see the show. I had a great view of other people's backs and heads. I would suggest she never perform there again, there were no video screens either, so at least if they had them we could have seen her on the screens.. Sorry to say that Mariah really needs to look into this matter, there were many upset fans around me...I still love her, and always will.... Thanks....
What can be said about Miss Diva she was amazing. I can't imagine what it would be like to sing like that. Her costumes exquisite her voice like an angel. I would never ever go back to Hard Rock Casino we could not see anything and paid good money to be on the floor.
We were seated and I was playing tetris on my phone, because the opening act was not my idea of good music. I like hip hop, but good hip hop like for example, Nas, Remy Ma or Roxanne shante. Not some boys who scream, "throw your hands in the air single ladies". After waiting for about 47-51 Minutes or so, she arrived.. I was unable to get good pictures because of all the lights on the stage and behind her. She had so much security, which rendered it near impossible to get a picture with her. My friend was dissapointed, he wanted her autograph-he purchased the event book, mug and keychain. I felt like he deserved at least a picture with her, after investing money in those items. I still love mariah, I just remember the mariah that would take pictures with her fans. Perhaps she was adhering the rules of the casino that prohibit her interacting with fans after.
she is the #1 diva!!! i would see her again! she's very classy!
Mariah Carey's concert was excellent. She has still got it. She hit all her whistle notes with perfect precision, and had the crowd going wild. She CONSTANTLY made jokes alluding her infamous drunk award speech. She had about five wardrobes changes throughout the show. Like most people will tell you, she doesn't last that long. Her singing alone lasted a little less than two hours. The event started at 8, she was out by 8:50, and the show ended around 10:40. Mariah mainly sang songs off her new album. The only old-school songs she sang were "My All", "Make It Happen", "Always Be My Baby", "Honey", and "Hero". Trey Lorenz was there singing backup and he even sang a song by himself, Michael Jackson's "Rock With You". A trio opened up for her, don't remember the name. My review would have been 5 stars if she had sang more of her 90s hits.
She looked and sounded beautiful and amazing. Been her fan since her first single and video. Just wish the show was longer than 1 hour and 45 min.
Well, to begin with,,, Mariah was 50 minutes late in starting. The guys that preceded her (not a band) were lame. Never heard of them and they were not too good. Mariah has such a beautiful voice and she only sang for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Not long enough at all. She was so full of herself on stage and even had her hair and makeup people come on stage after a song to "fix her up". How self indulging. She was so conceded on stage time and time again. I wished she would just shut up and sing more. One time she went back stage to change outfits and didn't come back out for a good 5-7 long minutes while her band tried to sing the backup part of one of her songs. I mean, c'mon, she was only on stage for 1 hour and 20 minutes. It didn't seem like she really wanted to be there either. I was actually glad when the whole thing was over. I absolutely love Mariah's voice and have most of her albums, but last night I was thouroughly dissappointed!!!
