Mariah Carey Tickets

I love Mariah and essentially loved the show. She had an opening act of rappers that were good but unknown. She made a spectacular entrance from a swing coming down from the ceiling. She sang wonderfully, was in a good mood and relaxed. The show had a number of high powered dancers with several numbers performed. Because this was Motown, there was a Michael Jackson tribute and a brief allusion to Diana Ross. She had several costume changes (wish they were out in the open). The lighting and seating were good. Criticisms: her music was too loud drowning out her voice much of the time making lyrics hard to hear. She did not sing any of the hit songs I know and love her for. She sang mostly hip hop songs that did not rate well in record sales. The no camera policy sucks and the phone camera nazis made the concert experience bad because they were always in the aisle blocking my view telling people to stop using the phone or they would take it away.

I don't know if she really knows how amazing she is. What an awesome show, that woman can sign. I could of listened to her for hours. Thanks for coming to Detroit Mariah!

It was an amazing show! Mariah sounded perfect! She was so beautiful. It was a great show and the opening act was good too!

For $125.00 tickets I would expect more than an hour and twenty minutes. And I wanted to hear a little more of her old songs. She sang Hero - but no Vision of Love. I was disappointed in Mariah. The dancers however were awesome!

It was worth seeing Mariah because she hasn't been to Detroit for quite some time. Was it like her concerts I've seen on t.v. like Hawaii for example, not all all. I love her music but was not impressed with her performance. The opening act was up and coming so I wasn't too interested and Mariah's show didn't seem like it had that much money invested in it. It was very plain jane and she was acting like a total diva. With her exit, she didn't go out with a big bang. It was so non-chalant. She didn't sing any of her older songs either. Everything was from more recent albums.

This was the first time I'd seen Mariah in concert and believe me she lived up to the hype. Her voice is amazing and she really is the real deal. The only thing I would change is the length. I coulda listened to her sing all night!

Thought the concert was fantastic...Love concerts at the Fox Theatre!!! Wish she would have played more of her older songs, but it was still very good! Go Mariah!!!!!!! Thanks for a great night.

Mariah was awesome and beautiful. She did a great job. The whole show was good from beginning to end.

I was disappointed to say the least with Mariah Carey last night. She only played 3 songs that I knew. Since Mariah has had so many #1 hits I thought for sure she'd play hit after hit. She plugged her new album at least 10 times. Please Mariah, do a sound check!!!! The band was louder that Mariah and even when I "could" hear her voice it was fuzzy. Her voice sounded great (strong and hitting all the notes) but the poor sound arrangement made it impossible to enjoy. VERY FRUSTRATING considering I paid $283 for 2 tickets!!!

Mariah Carey is my all time favorite artist in the world!!!! I'm so glad that she came back to Detroit to perform. I'll admit, you don't go to a Mariah Carey concert for theatrics and awesome dance moves (go to Beyonce for that). You go see Mariah Carey because you appreciate her talent as a singer and songwriter. You go because she is the all time highest selling female vocalist. You go becaus she is absolutely gorgeous! And for all the haters, yes, she hit every single one of her notes and then some! Everyone always says that Mariah is losing her voice but I think the contrary. She sounded top notch last night. I love you Mariah!!!!

I have seen Mariah three times now and she keeps getting better and better! What an amazing singer. I had goosebumps from beginning to end!

The show was amaziing....She really can put on a show. This is my third time seeing her and the Fox was an amazing venue to watch such a wonderful show!

The show was really good. The set was beautiful and she looked amazing! Can't wait to see her at another concert.

Her voice was beyond great .!! She sounded the same as she did 15 years ago, stage was magical , nice well dressed dancers overall the show was top notch as it should be for somebody her stature... I truly loved the show

She better be pregnant because I didn't pay for an hour concert and barely any highlights. The orchestra rocked it though.

The concert was awesome!!! Mariah was in full voice and looked fabulous!!!!!!

I found the acoustics were not good at all and the background music was extremely loud. We couldn't hear when she was talking.

MARIAH WAS AMAZING, SHE SINGS INCREDIBLY, AND WOULD DEFINITELY GO SEE HER AGAIN, BUT I BOUGHT FLOOR SEATS AND I COULDN'T SEE ANYTHING. EVERYONE WAS STANDING, FORCING ME TO STAND THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE SHOW AND STILL COULD BARELY SEE ANYTHING. WORD OF ADVICE, DONT BUY FLOOR SEATS!
