Mariah Carey is a singer, songwriter, actress and author from Huntington, New York. Known for her five-octave vocal range and songwriting prowess, Carey is one of the best-selling artists of all time, with a record 18 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 to her name — the most of any solo artist in music history. Carey got her start at 21 with her debut album Mariah Carey, which featured four consecutive chart-topping hits: “Vision of Love,” “Love Takes Time,” “Someday” and “I Don’t Wanna Cry.” Other albums in Carey’s early discography include Emotions (1991), Butterfly (1997), Rainbow (1999), and Charmbracelet (2002). In the mid-2000s, the singer hit the top of the charts again with her smash albums The Emancipation of Mimi (2005), E=MC2 (2008) and Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel (2009). Billboard named her single “We Belong Together” from The Emancipation of Mimi as the defining song of the decade. Also known as the “Queen of Christmas,” Carey became the first artist to score a No. 1 hit across four consecutive decades when her 1994 holiday single “All I Want for Christmas Is You” hit No. 1 for the first time in late 2019 and early 2020, a full 25 years after its initial release. Mariah’s modern holiday classic has since returned to the summit of the Billboard Hot 100 for five consecutive years running, spending a total of 14 weeks and counting at No. 1.

Mariah is the best . Spectacular, funny, and beautiful. We lover her.
Mariah did an awesome job. Other than being a great singer, she is a funny person too. She interracted well with her audiance. Other than the one young guy who kept standing up for every little thing, which of course led to everyone else having to stand the concert was great. Some people just have no consideration however I will definately go and see her again.
This concert was truly a magical event. Mariah is a true diva and certainly proved it last night. The stage, lights, backup singers and dancers were amazing. I wish she would have sang more of her old hits, but she sang beautifully nonetheless.
As a huge Mariah Carey fan, I was very pleased with the whole show. She performed beautifully and I really enjoyed all of the dancers and special effects. I loved it!!!!! Mariah is the best!!!
Mariah is a Diva, and she knows it. I came to hear the voice of an angel. It was hindered by a loud band. Mariah performed very well, beautiful. The show was short. The engineers should cut down the volume on the band, to let their boss shine.
Mariah had an excellent concert! It was a blast. I do feel her rainbow tour (almost ten years ago) was a little more exciting, but Mariah was phenomenal!!
She had great stage presence, amazing trapeze artists and dancers in her background to perform to her songs, humor and sincerity between songs when she was just talking to the crowd, and her entrance was exquisite. And this has nothing to do with the fact that her voice was angelic and perfectly delivered. Her CD's have never done her justice when compared to live. It sends chills through your body just hearing it. I love old Mariah, but I do kinda wish she had sung more songs from her new album. Happy nontheless!
LOVED it!! I'm a huge Mariah fan and was able to get seats in the VIP section, and it was awesome! I would definitely go back to the Hardrock Live!
worse concert that a have been in many years. very low production, no big screens1
Mariah was great like always, and the song selection was acceptable as she mixed well old songs with some new ones. That's all for the good part. The concert started way passed the time set and it was overall a short concert. The Hard Rock Live Venue in Hollywood is just the ugliest, most disorganized, and anti-concert venue ever. My seats were among the most expensive ones (floor) and I could barely see Mariah and basically none of the choreographies. This is because the floor is FLAT, so if you are behind the first 10 rows and your height is not over 6-4 you just wasted your money. On top of this, there were no TV projections like in most concerts. So, I spent the night wishing I had bought the cheapest tickets in levels 2 or 3, where everyone had a distant but clear view of the stage. In summary I would recommend this concert, but at any other place other than the Hard Rock Live, and since the concert lasts about an hour don't go in with great expectations of listening more than two or three of your favorite songs.
This was the first time I have seen Mariah live and I have been a fan for about 15 years. She was absolutely incredible. I could not believe how amazing she sounded live, I dont think anyone could sing like she can. She interacted so much with the audience and she was so funny! It was completely worth the money and the 4 hour drive. The only downfall was the seating. I paid top dollar for flore seats and no one would sit down all night so I had a hard time seeing her since I am only 5'3". But other than that the show was unbelievable!!!!!
The concert just was ok. It was scheduled to start at 7:30 pm but Mariah came out at 9:00pm. So after waiting 1.5 hours she only sang about 1.5 hours. She is a wonderful singer but she does not give the audiance their money's worth. For the cost of the tickets she could have at least had a great warm up act. I was disappointed!!
The Show satrted only 15 minutes late, and Mariah came out within 15 minutes after the opening act. Mariah's voice was PITCH PERFECt and AMAZING LIVE! Her gowns were amazing, and the dancers and orchestra were well executed.
First off, let me just say that I can't imagine any VIP having to view a concert with two safety wires in front of them! Well, that is what you will endure buying front row tickets in the VIP section (204) at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood. Anyways, on to the concert. Mariah is a Diva, plain and simple! First off, her show was roughly an hour long, including only one encore song and part of that hour included a song some guy sang. In addition, she must of went through a minimum of six outfit changes (which during this time, there was just music playing or something)!!! Her stage was so-so. But, I will admit...that girl can sing! Bottom line, if you love Mariah Carey and have to see her, then go. But be prepared to feel short changed in the end!
I've been to other concerts at the Hard Rock over the past few months but this one by far was the most mesmerizing. Mariah took my breath away.
This was the best show I have seen in the longest time. She completely out did herself from when she came back in 2006.
This was my 4th time seeing Mariah live since 2000 & probably her best vocally out of the four. I noticed a little less lip synching this time around and when she did sing live, she actually went for some big notes she used to avoid like the plague. She looked beautiful and interacted with the crowd many times!! She is a one of a kind performer when it comes to smiles, waves and interaction. She really appreciates her audience and enjoys talking to them. The odd thing was out of the four times, this was the only time Mariah had security harrasing everyone about their cell phones and photos. In the past it was never an issue and you were allowed to snap photos. This time we were briefed at the door that it wasn't a venue policy, but Mariah's policy and that you would be warned once and escorted out a 2nd time if you were caught taking a photo. This was the only thing that ruined the show because although I didn't snap a photo, security was constantly running up and down the aisles for 90% of the show flashing lights at everyone and yelling and jumping over people nonstop. It was hard to enjoy the show at times, but it helped distracted from the lip synched bits and Mariah's energy and interaction was good enough to make up for it! The intro was also quite nice with Mariah coming down on a swing like a Quinceanera. I also enjoyed how she brought back the Love Hangover/Heartbreaker divas live mix. Overall a Good show, but a bit short. Love Mariah!!
NOT A VERY POWERFUL PERFORMANCE, BUT WE HAD THE CHEAP SEATS, SO WE GOT WHAT IT WAS WORTH :) OK FOR $50
I'm a big Mariah Carey fan this was my first concert that I got floor seats, and honestly I will never get them again as soon as people got up to see her I couldn't see!! I was very disappointed in that and that Mariah performed for an hour.... This was not worth my $130 dollars, for an hour show, for seats that I couldn't sit back and relax to watch her, and not even be able to take a picture of someone I came to see!!
What a show...the voice, all i can say is whow! she is something special. what a diva!.. I will definetlly go see her again and i would recomend this show to anyone.
