Who knew that Marcus Johnson's Project knew DC GoGo. When Contemporary Jazz meets GoGo, you have a rocking time. Marcus Johnson's Project providing you with keyboards, sax, drums and you mix it with amazing lyrics, you relax and enjoy the sound. Oh what a night!

Show was awesome Music was grrreat. It was as if Marcus & his band were playing directly to me. Food was superb. Service was terrific. A memorable experience. One that I will remember for a long time.

The flow of music was great, jazz was awesome and gogo music at the walk up and leave. He is an incredible musician writer, but once again that gogo music was not why I came to see him.

This was a wonderful show. It exceeded my expectations. All of the performers were amazing. I truly hope this was only the first of many years in which they will return.

I have been to literally 100’s of concerts and this may possibly be my favorite. The combination of Marcus Johnson and Jackiem Joyner was amazing.

Marcus performed like a man on fire! He had great chemistry with his band and the audience. The most amazing thing was that he had never played with that band before! They played off each other and vibes like they were old souls…amazing!

The Marcus Johnson Project put on a very tight show. Their unique approach to music kept the audience engaged through out the set. Each interlude was filled with aspirational and inspirational exhortation which when laid bare equalled, love yourself and what you do. Very appropo for Valentine's day.
