Great show ! Marcia Ball can tickle the ivory as good as anyone. Will go see her every time she is in Atlanta. Disappointed the crowd was not bigger. She deserves a big crowd !!! Her band is off the chain good.
Matt Schofield is even better live. Marsha Ball played one hwll of a set. both stayed after the show for a meet & greet. all in all had a good time!
Marcia Ball is so very talented and such a great show! Her energy and joy is infectious! Her band is , fun, talented, and a delight to hear and watch! This is a great value, and there is no one to compare in blues, Cajum, Southern piano!
Marcia Ball never ceases to amaze me, her music and enthusiasm are timeless. There is no one who can bang on a keyboard like Marcia! Watching her play makes me happy. You can tell how much she loves what she does by her every move. Her body parts move to the music as if she has a dozen different people living inside of her. Not only did she sound and play incredibly, she looked awesome as well! The musicians that she has surrounded herself with are as top notch as she. I cannot speak more highly of a performance!
We have seen Marcia probably 10 times and she never fails to get better and better. The new stuff is as good or better than the old. A lot of fun.

Marcia Ball delivers again. Fast pace full show, energetic. Variety Playhouse a nice venue.
The best performance I've seen in a long, long while. She is truly one of the last pure performers. I would recommend her for everyone who enjoys real music and lyrics.
I saw Marcia Ball in 2000 at Atlanta's Chastain Park with Aaron Neville and John Fogerty, and she was excellent. This time it was in a much more intimate venue, and fans could really feel the energy. Backed by a tight four-piece band, she rocked the place with what's been described as a blend of rollicking, two-fisted New Orleans piano, Louisiana swamp rock and smoldering Texas blues. A few songs were slower numbers, but most were up-tempo, keeping fans' feet tapping the whole night.

Marcia Ball was the listed as the main performer and did not get on stage for an hour and a half of blastingly loud metal. By the time she got on stage I couldn't take any more. BB Kings did its usual of messing up the sound - too loud and not balanced. It's a shame because Marcia is wonderful.
The energy of the show and your band kept me wanting to get up and dance. The saxaphone player was spectacular and the electric guitarist could make his instrument talk. And you are the female, "Jerry Lee Lewis" on the keyboard. Unbelievable music!!!
The concert began with a set from Florida group Honey Miller. They are a local favorite out of the Cocoa Beach area. After an impressive set there was an intermission of about 15 minutes to get the stage ready. This is probably the fourth time I've seen Marcia Ball, and honestly, she never disappoints. She has such energy onstage. The band was real sharp. There is no doubt that Marcia is one of the best in the biz, and the tight rhythm section and awesome solos provided by her band just accentuated a great evening.
Talk about high energy and just a fun night... not to be missed. Marcia is sheer magic behind the keyboard and is very personable to boot. My wife, whose not particularly a blues fan enjoyed herself immensely too. The lead guitar and sax player gave great performances too, super job. The ONLY downside to the whole evening was a surprisingly discourteous security staff at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, yikes guys/miss, switch to decaf...
Other than the opening act of Honey Miller, the show was terrific. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
This was the second year we have attended the Marcia Ball concert in PV. The energy she brings to the stage is amazing. Her band is exceptionally talented.
This concert was very good and am so glad that I was able to attend!
Marcia never ceases to amaze me. After 37 years of watching her I still don't know how she can play that piano like she does. I like the up tempo but my favorite is when she slows it down as in Louisiana 1927, Power of Love, or "This used to be Paradise". I never miss her if she is within driving distance.
