Mannheim Steamroller Christmas Tickets

The first half new music was uneventful and a bit boring. Second half old music was good as previous shows.

The concert was fabulous. I saw the program and was surprised they didn't list Silent Night and Deck the Halls, but they had planned those for the encore and it was a fabulous way to end the night! I thought it was a little early for a Christmas concert, but it has jump-started my Christmas spirit and I am excited now!

Took my mother-in-law for her birthday. It was an awesome show. Have wanted to see them for years and they did not disappoint!

Highly energetic performance with amazing sychronization. So professional ; yet total fun. Loved the screen activity; but the music over rides all!!!!! Never ceases to amaze me how the live instruments are blended with the synthesizer...that is their greatest distinction. beth

Have never heard this music in as powerful moving instrumental as this was.

Mannheim was great.....excellent show.....outstanding.... Topeka Perf Arts Center.....needs to have air flow check... was extremely hot on floor....really unacceptable...

This was SO AWESOME, words cannot describe how good they were. I would love to have them come again. To see the whole place packed was a great tribute to Topeka. They all acted like they were enjoying what they were doing and that added more meaning to the whole show.

The music was fantastic. The video and lights made the experience amazing. Very enjoyable and well worth the price of admission. Highly recommend this.

The music was just what we expected, Mannheim Steamroller is the main Christmas music we listen to every season, so it was wonderful to hear them live. Bottom line: Don't sit in balcony E at TPAC if you want to see the video presentations. Mannheim Steamroller uses a video screen plus lighting to set the atmosphere for each song. Our seats were so horrible, we could only see a sliver of the screen. This was a big, frustrating distraction. It was hard to fully enjoy the music as we were unable to get the full experience. I will definitely go the next time they are in town, but get better seats.

I really enjoyed it. The acoustics were great! It was not to loud like some concerts in other locations are. I have always liked their music, and have most of their tapes or CDs. This was the first time I have been able to attend one of their concerts.

The music of Manheim Steamroller was very good, but the production around the show was very lacking. The videos they showed seemed very dated and did not add to the performance at all. My husband was not that excited about going to hear an instrumental performance, but I told him it would be different than just listening to the cd's because they would actually be putting on a show along with the music. I guess my expectations were set a bit high as there was not a show, just music. For the price of the ticket, I expected much more. I will still enjoy their cds this holiday season, but will know in the future to skip the live performance.

The music was wonderful, and the musicians had so much fun onstage that we were caught up in the performance. There was not a moment that I was in any way disappointed, but was so glad that we were there. Reliving the experience every time we listen to Mannheim Steamroller's music will be a blessing. Looking forward to next year's concert and hope they return to Topeka.

Show was Great! The Curtain call was the best part of the Show.

I go to hear them every Christmas. I absolutely love Mannheim Steamroller. They are my favorite Christmas group.

Great music and plenty of it. Was so interesting to actually "see" how the music of Chip Davis is created. A fun night of music for every age.

I was looking forward to this concert and it completely disappointed. The music was lackluster and the accompanying video is in need of a complete update. In all honestly, save your money and listen to the music at home or in your car.

Wonderful way to begin the Christmas Season with two full hours of music with Steamroller. Couldn't ask for a better performance.

Having followed Mannheim for 25 years I recommend everyone to see them. Great Christmas music!

We will not miss another MS performance in this area. We drove 250 miles for this one and it was worth the cost of the event, overnight and travel.

It is a tradition in our family to listen to Christmas music while we open presents Christmas morning. MS is what we always listen to! I have always been very involved with music and went to college on a music scholarship. This music was even more amazing live then it is on cd!!!
