Mandy Patinkin Tickets

Mandy Patinkin delivered an amazing concert at the Chicago Theatre where he entranced the audience with merely a piano, mic and his beautiful voice. This man doesn’t need video productions, lasers and pyrotechnics to augment the show, his voice is enough, and it’s just...perfect. With that said, the content of the show was not what I expected. Much more introspective, moody, emotional. So if you are looking for a toe-tapping, finger snapping show tune experience, this may not be for you.

Mandy has never failed to give a memorable experience! And he did just that on Thursday night in Chicago! Wish he toured more often! Thank you Mandy for a wonderful evening!

Hadn't heard Mandy sing before but he had been well recommended. I don't know if his voice is not what it used to be but just when you thought he was going for a strong number he pulled back - as if he were singing in the shower. A great disappointment after being wowed by him in Homeland.

I have a number of Mandy’s albums and I’ve seen Mandy perform live before, and this performance just didn’t live up to my expectations. He has a phenomenal voice, yet I found this performance to be very slow, dark (and I don’t mean dark stage and wearing dark clothing) and low in tonal range. As I heard someone describe the performance on the way out of the theater, ‘growly’. He didn’t perform his lighter, faster paced songs that really demonstrate his vocal range and fun side. Those are the songs that I love and missed hearing.

Great selections and nice monologues. Fabulous piano talent. Only negative, only heard half the words to many unfamiliar songs. I seems Mandy is starting to slur words, but I am 71 y/o.

The man is super talented, funny, kind, humble, very handsome and an amazing story teller. The best concert I have ever been to. Pure talent and genius. The man is perfect! I would see him in concert again and again.

For the type of act Mandy Patinkin performed, I would have preferred a more intimate (smaller) venue. His selections were varied and interesting along with the stories he shared between songs. I had hoped for more Broadway songs (nothing from Evita?!), and a bit more Yiddish, but was happy to hear a few old Harry Chapin songs in the act. Overall it was a lovely afternoon. His accompanying pianist was wonderful!

Great voice and personality but odd choice of songs. We all left with the same opinion. Really connected with the audience though.

A concert with Mandy Patinkin is as enjoyable an experience as one could imagine. He doesn't need an orchestra to back him up, just a super talented piano accompanist and he fills the stage and auditorium. He is not just a singer, he is a performer and story teller and no one today puts over a song as well as he does. He connects with the audience using his skill as an actor to enter into conversations and banter. As one of our friends said, "I could have sat and listened to him for another 3 hours." My only complaint is that the 2 hours went by too fast, the audience wanted more!

What a voice ! What a pianist! And Mandy was funny and personable - it was just a perfect show. No loud band to drown out his superb voice. Adam Ben-David was sensational ! It was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Thank you

If you were hoping to hear songs from Evita, then you would have been disappointed. Instead the audience was treated to Mr. Potinkin's lifetime of experience of artistry,acting and passion. The lyrics of the songs became the other performer on stage. Beautifully done!

What energy! What emotion! Two solid hours of joy. Mandy Patimkin is masterful!

Simply amazing voice. I am a rocker, but have been a Mandy fan for years and dozens of concerts.

Mandy Patinkin probably is better known for his acting, but he put on a great show. Very talented entertainer.

We were very honored to see Mr. Patinkin on Sunday night at the Broward Center. We were enthralled by his performance, his choice of material and, most of all, by his voice. Now that we have seen Dress Casual we are even more determined to see him perform in Mamaloshen. We hope that he will return to South Florida in the near future so that we can enjoy another evening listening to his beautiful voice.
