WOW!
by SusanBT on 11/18/13The Sinclair - CambridgeRating: 5 out of 5Macy Gray just keeps getting better! Fabulous show!
Nice, but too short
by SeussBD on 5/27/13Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 3 out of 5I enjoyed the show, but the set was less than an hour and part of that was band introductions.
Good Night Out!
by MsBacknDaDay on 5/26/13Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 4 out of 5I enjoyed this show very much. It was my first time seeing Macy Gray, and I loved it. I would see her again. The band and the back up singers were on the mark!!
Short Shrift
by jdogdaddy on 5/26/13Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 4 out of 5Macy puts out a lot of energy but the performance started late and ended early and a quarter of the length of the show came as the encore. Given the expense of the tickets and the size of Macy's repertoire, the audience should have gotten another half hour of songs for the price of admission.
Macy Gray was Funtastic
by Ayas on 5/25/13Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5Macy Gray is a great entertainer and songtress. She sung each song such that the lyrics were alive. The vitality of the performance was ongoing. The band and the vocalists were fabulous. The Birchmere was an excellent place for intimacy with Macy Gray and kudos to the staff. The show rocked!

Macy Loved Sexy Kansas City
by anodkc on 8/2/12VooDoo Lounge at Harrah's Casino North Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5In spite of the small audience, Macy showed out in Kansas City. The audience responded by showing her love on a hot summer night. She appeared in a hot pink sequence gown that had an Asian influence. She sang with all of her heart. No slacking for this woman. Her band was tight. They watched for her prompts and were ready to adlib when she wanted to slow it down to have some fun. Her costume change had a royal blue boa accent that she threw around as she sang. The backup vocalist was amazing. Although the venue was huge, the performance was intimate.
Macy was amazing

Macy Gray
by Micy on 2/2/11Sound Board at MotorCity Casino Hotel - DetroitRating: 3 out of 5I was excited to attend the concert; I loved her music and I was happy to see her in person... Macy Gray had entertained not as well as I had expected; she stated that she felt under the weather... Yet overall, I was happy to actually see her in person...
Macy was amazing!
by ZackHMan on 1/31/11Sound Board at Motor City Casino Hotel - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5My friend and I had the opportunity to see Macy Gray at Sound Board inside of Motor City Casino on January 28th, 2011. I've seen Macy several times and I have to say after all of these years she is still one of the best touring artists out there. Her new smaller band was extremely versatile and even though under the weather, Macy was on fire with her vocals. What a great show! We can't wait to see you again, Macy!

Macy was great - unfortunately she seemed low energy, told the audience she had a cold from her kids. Back-up singer was terrific to watch, band was sound. Theatre was perfect, small and intimate, I'd go there again.
Macy - you are the bomb!
by cmno9 on 1/30/11Sound Board at MotorCity Casino Hotel - DetroitRating: 4 out of 5Wow - she is such a personality on stage. A great story teller and boy can this woman sing. She was not feeling well and was not able to sing her usual range but she still gave it 100%. I have become a huge fan of hers after seeing her in Royal Oak this summer. Her new CD is brilliant. Her back up singer is a show stopper and her band is immaculate. We loved the show. Our first time at the Sound Board and we were very impressed. Great venue and I would definitley return here. Only suggestion I have is that the bars inside the theatre serve something to eat. Something that doesn't smell or make noise but just some kind of nibble. Staff was terrific.
Macy Gray
by Jayway5577 on 1/30/11Sound Board at MotorCity Casino Hotel - DetroitRating: 3 out of 5Macy said she was under the weather and her performance was average. She was much better when i saw her at the Royal Oak musiec estival this summer. That show was longer much more energetic and featured three great background singers to the one at motorcity. Plus the price only 10 bucks for show this summer and she did a lot of songs from the new CD. Still love Macy Gray and will continue to support her
Macy Gray was sick..literally
by Kmontague42 on 1/30/11Sound Board at MotorCity Casino Hotel - DetroitRating: 3 out of 5It was too bad she wasn't feeling well...we really like her and wish the show would have been longer - she only played about 1.5 hours - and a large part of it was her band playing/singing! Disappointing
- by skiddeo on 1/30/11Sound Board at MotorCity Casino Hotel - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5
Macy Gray was very exciting, the show was wonderful.

I try was soulful
by alligatorskirt on 10/30/10Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 3 out of 5Macy Gray's voice as amazing as ever! Band great. But she seemed to not have much energy- did frequent wardrobe changes and sat out during a few songs and let dancer /backup singer take over.
