This was the best stage presence I have ever seen out of a band. Music was great and they were funny as hell. Love you Mac!

About
Mac Demarco Concert Schedule and Tour
From the lo-fi haze of his early recordings to the languid shimmer of his newer work, Mac Demarco has firmly established himself as slacker rock's modern posterboy. Cigarette perilously dangling from his lips, Demarco cuts an insouciant figure on stage, treating fans at his live shows to his signature drawl and vintage guitar tones. Whether he's apologizing to his mom for "Freaking Out The Neighborhood" or advising listeners to "Go Easy," Demarco is sure to captivate with his seedy charm and world-weary wit on his upcoming concert tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in British Columbia in 1990, Mac Demarco began playing music at age 14, involving himself in various bands while attending high school. In 2009 he began releasing music as Makeout Videotape, performing in concert venues around Vancouver and building a small but loyal following with his lewd sense of humor and off-color live shows. In 2011 he moved to Montreal to begin working on what would ultimately become his debut release as Mac Demarco, 2012's Rock and Roll Night Club. The self-produced album, recorded at home on a four-track tape recorder, was a hit with fans and critics alike, attracting the attention of Brooklyn-based independent label Captured Tracks. His sophomore album, 2, was released on the label in 2012, landing on numerous year-end lists and further contributing to his growing cult fame. In 2014, he released his third album Salad Days to universal acclaim, kicking off a 36-date world tour that will treat fans in North America, South America, and Europe to his already-legendary live show events.

Mac DeMarco puts on the best show I've ever seen
by AudreyLP on 10/20/15Civic Theatre - New OrleansRating: 5 out of 5Everything about Mac's performance is flawless. He sounds amazing live. Just as good if not better than the recording. This is my second time seeing him, and the first time since Another One came out. The new songs sound great. Andy's solos are phenomenal, and the whole band is clearly having a fun time. Mac climbed up the balcony while crowd surfing during Still Together, then jumped off the balcony into the crowd again. It ended with the crowd rushing the stage and partying with the band. Perfect night.
Mac was great, waiting wasn't!
by CWatz23 on 10/20/15Civic Theatre - New OrleansRating: 3 out of 5Mac DeMarco's performance was great, but way too short. The openers took up about an hour and a half of the time slot, which was longer than the time the actual performer I went to see was on stage. It was nice, but could have been better.
best concert ever!!!
by TradWillmann on 10/20/15Civic Theatre - New OrleansRating: 5 out of 5Mac is a sex god, i felt his vibrations all night long as i grooved to his sweet sweet music. He connected with the crowd more than any other band i have seen and at the end of the show the crowd rushed the stage, i even got to touch his nipple ;)
I will never experience the same happiness again
by ratgiirl on 10/18/15Howard Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5Mac is an unbelievably, unreal performer. Never in my life have I been to a concert where the band connected more with the audience. You felt like you were just hanging out with them. Afterwords he was fine with just hanging out with people backstage... and I still can't breathe when I look back on it
skip the openers and go right in when mac starts
by hunterscottr on 10/17/15Howard Theatre - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5Mac demarco was excellent as always. He was very entertaining and he did his usual weirdness, which was incredible. However, the openers for the band were downright awful. Alex Calder had the most droning voice I have ever heard. I asked people around me to make sure it wasn't just me that thought it was bad. NOBODY enjoyed Alex Calder. He sounded like a high school battle of the bands. He actually killed the buzz before the concert.. Luckily Mac picked it back up.

Mac was fine. Lost some respect for him due to who he chose as his opener. Jerry Paper was completely disappointing.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!
by Mis30 on 1/22/15The Fillmore - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5This is my second time seeing Mac! Love his shows because he makes it fun and weird! The energy was great. People were crowd surfing and moshing. Such a cool dude! First time I saw him, Peter gave me the setlist!!! When I saw him at the Fillmore, I had the opportunity to meet him, take a photo, get an autograph and kiss him! He left my lipstick mark on his cheek for the rest of the night <3

Best concert I've been to
by Niconame on 11/9/14The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5Mac Demarco was more than I expected it to be. Opening was great, mac was better, crowd surf was gnarly, he made out with two dudes just because. Unreal.
legandary mac demarco show
by KFraz on 11/9/14The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5Mac demarco played his songs from his lattest 2 albums: salad days and mac demarco 2. Conan played his classic song with his creepy high pitched voice: im the man that with find you. Mac demarco is known for his wild performances. When playing "together" he surfed through the first floor of people. He then was pulled up to the second floor to surf through the whole building and back. There was lots of young kids, but everyone was feeling the vibe, dancing, jumping, and surfing on the tight crowd.
One of the best nights of my life!
by Dakota4857 on 11/9/14The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5The Mac Demarco show at the Danforth was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Couldn't have picked a better opener. Mac played an AMAZING show and I loved the constant interaction with the audience, that is what makes us as viewers feel special and make it worth while. Flawless show.
