From the lo-fi haze of his early recordings to the languid shimmer of his newer work, Mac Demarco has firmly established himself as slacker rock's modern posterboy. Cigarette perilously dangling from his lips, Demarco cuts an insouciant figure on stage, treating fans at his live shows to his signature drawl and vintage guitar tones. Whether he's apologizing to his mom for "Freaking Out The Neighborhood" or advising listeners to "Go Easy," Demarco is sure to captivate with his seedy charm and world-weary wit on his upcoming concert tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in British Columbia in 1990, Mac Demarco began playing music at age 14, involving himself in various bands while attending high school. In 2009 he began releasing music as Makeout Videotape, performing in concert venues around Vancouver and building a small but loyal following with his lewd sense of humor and off-color live shows. In 2011 he moved to Montreal to begin working on what would ultimately become his debut release as Mac Demarco, 2012's Rock and Roll Night Club. The self-produced album, recorded at home on a four-track tape recorder, was a hit with fans and critics alike, attracting the attention of Brooklyn-based independent label Captured Tracks. His sophomore album, 2, was released on the label in 2012, landing on numerous year-end lists and further contributing to his growing cult fame. In 2014, he released his third album Salad Days to universal acclaim, kicking off a 36-date world tour that will treat fans in North America, South America, and Europe to his already-legendary live show events.

Fantastic show, a real night to remember. The vocals? Amazing. The band? Awesome. Mac daddy’s dancing skills? Impeccable. The overall vibes and crowd? Great. I would highly recommend. I waited years for Mac to perform in Vancouver and battled the Ticketmaster queue to get my tickets. It was worth the money and the stress of all the tickets selling out in a matter of minutes.

Beautiful Mac blessed my eyes and ears and my heart with his beautiful signing and his two openers had my head bopping and he was super nice when meeting him nicest people ever and concert just as beautiful as he is

The venue was beautiful and one of my favorites so far! This was my first time seeing Mac Demarco and was absolutely blown away! Genuinely an unforgettable experience and if I ever have another opportunity to see him I will 100% take the opportunity
show was perfect merch situation was the worst handling of merch i’ve ever seen. i’ve been to near 50 shows and radio city music hall had the worst merch setup ever. only 1 merch booth AND most of the merch was sold out due to the merch selling out the night before is totally unacceptable. radio city music hall definitely need to handle merch better and they need to tell people in line which items are sold out as they never mentioned that the vinyl is sold out and me and my girlfriend waiting for it to be told at the booth that it wasn’t available. it’s poor communication and definitely needs to be worked on.
mac is god post show fan meet up was cool but the staff from the venue were super unprofessional and rude. we're celebrating music here, keep the vibes good.
