The Skynyrd show brought out young and old, and no one left disappointed. From the classics to the songs from the new album, it was a good time had by all. At LCP, you have the opportunity to be directly in front of the stage. To be able to do that for a Skynyrd show was just amazing.
Bo Bice was very good. I love Synyrd Skynyrd, but the audio was so loud that it hurt my ear drums.
The Lynrd Skynrd concert at the Illinois State Fair was great!! They rocked!
They brung the roof down on an outdoor venue. The crowd was awsome and from what i seen everyone had a great time with no trouble.
This was my last big hoo-rah w/my 19year old son whose birthday was Aug. 19th before sending him off to Marine bootcamp this coming Sunday. What a memory ! I cant think of a better way to have spent the evening! As always Skynyrd kicked ass! ( i have seen them in concert more times than I can count). My first time at the LC outdoors-I will be back!
The volume of the noise at the Lynyrd Skynyrd part was beyond belief. We left after 3 songs before we lost our hearing. I have been to rock concerts before, but this was so loud we could hardly make out what song they were performing. To say it angered us is a gross understatement. We are very sorry we wasted $50.00. Wish we could get our money back and have spent our time elsewhere. And to think, we used to love Lynyrd Skynyrd's music. We will NEVER go to another of their concerts. Obviously their sound man is deaf.
This was my husbands second Skynyard concert and my first. We had so much fun. He is a long time fan and a die hard fan. He acted like a young kid. Thank you so much for our wonderful night together it was our 19 anv. present to each other.
You name it everything about this concert was amazing !I love seeing concertsat smaller venues like the LC ,you can see and hear so much more.they rocked the place with their new songs which I have not heard yet and I will always listen to their old ones even if someone does a remake I know where the song came from!!! Lynard Skynard you are the bomb!
IT WAS A PERFECT NIGHT FOR AN OUTDOOR CONCERT! THE CROWD WAS RESPECTFUL, MUSIC WAS AWESOME, THE BEER WAS COLD. Leave the kids 14 & under at home. Could not believe MCGUFFY LANE thanked "Molly Hatchet for opening of the show". GET IT RIGHT!

Lynyrd Skynyrd rocked the house last night. The best concert I've ever been to. I have always been a huge fan because of my parents introducing the band's music to me at a young age. Like they said last night, we're third generation fans!!!
This was my first Skynyrd show, WOW!! what a performance. I have also never been to the LC pavillion, until this show. The venue was great and the music even better. Loud would be an understatement as the bells rang in our ears a half hour after we left. These guys are amazing with great guitar solo's only hendered by the equiptment not being able to keep up with their blinding speed. Classic Skynyrd walk-off after "Sweet Home Alabama", followed by, but of course encore "Freebird". The venue was nice, not too big that the place seemed empty, but not so crowded people were getting trampled. Great show guys, Andy
It was a great concert it was unforgettable i never had a much fun as I did last night cant wait till they come back I will attend again
I thought the show was a very good show! I saw them back in 2006 with Billy and thought that was one of the greatest shows that I had ever been to. Also on that night Free Bird was about 20 minutes long! However, last night you could def. tell they were missing the beautiful keyboards that Billy could play, I mean the replacement is OK but not the same. Second is I was not a fan of there new songs they played. Skynyrd Nation is kind of a corny rhyming song, and the other just wasn't a true Skynyrd tune. Finally, Free Bird was only about ten minutes long and I was really disappointed but it was still a rocking show! Trust me if you haven't seen Skynyrd, go see them! They are still amazing no matter what they do or don't do!
I was impressed with the high energy and professional delivery! The show was so fun! The band has lost NOTHING over the years......It was amazing!

This was the first time my 17 year old son went to a concert. He had the best time and says he willl see them everytime they return. I thought the energy of the band was unbelievable. The only better thing then seeing them in concert would be to meet them.
this was the best show i have been to at LC. very loud, and not just the band.. everyone else rocking too
