About

Luke Combs is a country artist from Asheville, North Carolina. The singer-songwriter released his debut album, This One’s for You, in 2017. His sophomore studio set, What You See Is What You Get, followed in 2019, becoming his first LP to top the Billboard 200. That same year, Combs was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards — his first of seven nominations to date. Combs’ third and fourth albums, Growin’ Up (2022) and Gettin’ Old (2023), were recorded simultaneously and serve as companion projects. For the latter, Combs included a cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car.” His countrified take on the 1988 hit single became a bonafide crossover success for the star, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and bringing about a duet with the folk singer at the 2024 Grammy Awards. In 2024, Combs will embark on his Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour in support of the dual albums.

Best concert ever…he definitely knows how to get the crowd involved!

    Great artist/bad venue

by Mindi E on 5/1/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

Loved Luke Combs!! But Beaver Stadium is a horrible venue for a concert. There’s only one way in and one way out. I know people who sat still for 2 hours without moving an inch to get out. Not to mention you are on bleachers and packed in like sardines. I saw him in Pittsburgh last year and it was so much easier to get out because everyone is going a different direction.

    Experience of a lifetime

by Brittany on 5/1/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

Our tickets were upgraded to ‘the pit’ from Luke combs fan page ‘bootleggers’. I’ve never experienced anything like it. One of the best nights of my life. Having access to our tickets and our upgrade right in the apple wallet made it super easy and stress free. I’d do it all over again a million times.

    It was Awesome!

by Chris on 4/30/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

6 people attended, 2 of these people were raised in the local area. Celebrating my sister’s 53 birthday. Other than the weather and traffic control or the lack of it off of RT 26 onto Porter road, everything else was amazing!! Thank you Luke Combs and Jordan Davis for a great night!

Luke Combs was amazing and exceeded our expectations.

by Casey H. on 4/30/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

The concert was amazing and Luke Combs sounds as good if not better in person than on the radio. We had a great time. Only downfall was the obstructed view from the tent in the middle of the field. We had good seat and paid good money for section SD and half of the stage was out of view.

    Luke Combs crushed it!

by Susie on 4/30/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

We’ve been fans of Like Combs forever and we’re so excited to get tickets to his show. He didn’t disappoint, it was worth every penny! His set list was so well put together too between old and new songs as well as highs and lows, it just hit perfectly. Luke Combs is so talented his performance was effortless and he sounded just like he does on the radio! Just overall an amazing show 💗💗💗

    Best Concert Ever!

by Earlene on 4/30/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

This is the second time i've seen Luke Combs in concert and he is the best ever! I would see him a hundred times if i could afford it. He never disappoints! So personable, caring and loves his fans. I was glad to be at his new all time record of 80,000 fans (sold out) show. Love Luke

    AMAZING!!!

by Jen W on 4/30/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

I went to the Luke Combs concert on April 27 at Beaver Stadium. We arrived a little late due to being stuck in traffic but was able to see the end of Mitchell Tenpenney. Next up was Jordan Davis who did not disappoint! After a little while Luke Combs took the stage and blew everything away!! To hear 80,000 people sing along to his songs have me goosebumps!! I would definitely go to another one of Luke Combs concert!! The traffic however to get in and out was absolutely ridiculous! Beaver stadium should figure out another way to get everyone in and out

    Horrible traffic

by K&J on 4/30/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

Absolutely horrible. Didn’t even make it to the show even though we were at the stadium in plenty of time. sat in traffic for over 3 hours within 5 miles of the stadium. The set up was horrible. The people directing traffic couldn’t tell us how to get to our lot and we never could find it. It was the worst experience and didn’t even get to see Luke Combs.

by Debbie on 4/30/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

Luke always puts on an amazing show. However, you have way more music out now. Make the set a lil longer. At least until 11

Concert Great, venue not so much

by Bugsy on 4/30/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

Luke Combs was amazing as always, but the venue was a mess. Parking signs were non existent for some lots, once we were inside, the crowds were so thick I was afraid of being injured. We are talking shoulder to shoulder, trying to get to our seat. People were pushing, and you had no choice but to move with the crowd or be trampled. The alcohol consumption completely ruined the experience. Vomit, drinks being spilled all over the place, fights, etc. We observed people switching armbands to get into the pit and lots of underage drinking. I have attended football games at this venue without the above named problems, so not sure what happened here. 30k less people, but the venue was not able to handle it well.

One of the best shows I have ever been to. Buy the tickets. His openers were very good as well

    Awesome!

by Jodi on 4/30/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

The concert was amazing! I think Penn State and Ticketmaster were very stingy with the parking prices at $80 or $100 per vehicle to park in a field when normal parking at the school is under $6.00. We so nt the first 2 hours of our day driving around the town trying to find lot 21 which was completely unmarked and after stopping to see 14 different parking attendants at different lots that all told us lot 21 was not even on their maps. Major waste of our time and a very unnecessary stressful situation for our whole group.

    Was ok

by Janice on 4/30/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

I prefer smaller venue. Had never been to a concert in a stadium. Could not hear him very well. Probably won’t go to another one in a stadium

    Good concert, horrible venue

by Bella on 4/30/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

The concert was GREAT, however, the facility was to be desired! 2 hours waiting in line to get to parking lot that I paid a ridiculous amount of money for! Late to the opening act because of this! Lines for food and souvenirs were outrageous! Drunks EVERYWHERE unfortunately! Other venues I have been to at least give a limit on the number of beverages one can have. Unfortunately this is not the case here and drinking was highly encouraged which left the rest of us having a hard time to enjoy by being surrounded by these incompetent loud mouth individuals! Do not recommend this venue! However performers were fabulous!

    Fantastic lineup

by Live Music Lover on 4/30/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

I absolutely loved the lineup that was at the PSU Beaver stadium. It was quite a moment to be a part of an 80,000-plus attendance record for Luke Combs! The only complaints that I have were leaving the venue and price of parking. While 80,000 is a lot of people, it must be taken into consideration that a lot of those in attendance were students. Being a student means that they didnt have a vehicle. There needed to be people guiding cars out of the venue. Traffic was horrendous! Parking was nit available until noon, when on game days it opens around 8am. I parked in a space that I paid $100. Spots a mile away were $40. Parking was very, very expensive for the almost non-existent amount of assistance PSU provided leaving the area. PSU needs to do better, if they're going to put on these kinds of shows.

    Awesome Concert

by Tom R on 4/30/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

It was an awesome concert from start to finish. Venue parking entrance and egress - not so much. Took us 2 hours to get out of the parking lot and a total of 4 hours to get home (for a 1-1/2 hour drive!)

Concert awesome…parking and bathroom situation was horrible

by geletysk on 4/30/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

Concert was the best. Couldn’t get to parking lot where I purchased a pass cause of a barricade. Only had 4 stalls in women’s bathroom next to our seats. Waited an hour of not moving after concert. Not sure I’d go there again for a concert.

    Luke Combs was Awesome!

by Karla Lou on 4/30/24Beaver Stadium - University Park

I loved the concert, but the venue sucked! Beaver Stadium on Penn State Main Campus, was utter chaos. The was no one directing traffic, took 4 hours to get into the venue. Paid $60 to park to find out that the parking attendants weren’t even checking to see if you paid. They had the merch table at the entrance to the venue, which blocked the crowd coming in. I will never go to an event at Penn State again. Luke Combs, I would see over and over again!!!!
