  • Southern Gothic

    by Fasteddie2 on 10/16/18Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Lucero played an intense set at the Paradise Rock Club, breaking out the Southern Gothic sounds from their new LP, Among the Ghosts, along with plenty of hits from the past. Lucero never fails to deliver.

Hey it’s lucero, if you dig them, you’ll love them live. New album sounds amazing. Ben has a really good presence on stage and some great down home banter. I could use more tunes played off the self titled album but that’s just cause it’s so amazing. Opening act was decent, but honestly I wasn’t really paying attention to them. Like I said 5 F-ing stars.

I have been waiting a long time to see Lucero. It was well worth the wait. They were great! Venue was a little unusual but a nice place for a concert!

  • Great band, interesting venue

by OberEasy on 10/8/18Cincinnati Masonic Center - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5

Lucero was excellent. Played a great mix from their whole catalog, and accommodated some requests. The venue was a little different, but it was cool to be able to stand on the floor close to the band or go grab a seat and relax for a bit. Acoustics were really good.

  • Just a great rock band!

by Japannites on 10/8/18Cincinnati Masonic Center - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5

I have seen Lucero three times and get more impressed every time. Ben Nichols is not only an amazing front man to a great band of musicians he is also a fantastic song writer. With the new album only recently out, the new songs were already on the lips of surrounding fans. They are a tight band and Ben's interactions with the crowd are sincere and often times funny. It is hard to find a good rock band these days as sampled music seems to dominate. However, Lucero continues to fight the good fight for hard core rock and roll fans and I hope they come back to Cincinnati very soon.

  • Lucero is what a concert should be

by Ccurrans on 10/8/18Cincinnati Masonic Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

The band loves their fans and plays off of their energy. They are a lot of fun in concert and their music is a melting pot of different genres that works really well.

First time seeing them live and they did not disappoint. Outstanding musicians, and they sound just like their album. Highly recommend to anyone searching for great artists outside of mainstream radio!

  • Lucero!

    by Beak33 on 9/10/18Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Lucero is one of my all time favorite bands and they never fail to put on a spectacular show. Friday night at the Ryman was no different. Great set list and high energy. And of course the atmosphere at The Ryman is 2nd to none. If you've never seen Lucero live i strongly recommend doing so as soon as possible.
