About

With over 13 million albums sold worldwide and an astonishing 55 songs on the Billboard charts, Los Tucanes de Tijuana are one of the most prolific and acclaimed norteño acts in the world. Formed in 1987 from the music scene of Tijuana's nightclubs, the group's humble beginnings gave way to international stardom and celebrated live concerts at iconic venues such as Dodger Stadium and the Zócola, a plaza in Mexico City with a capacity of 100,000. With the release of 365 Días in 2012, Los Tucanes landed at No. 3 on the Top Latin Albums chart and won their first Latin Grammy for Best Norteño Album. The group began as a quartet consisting of lead vocalist/guitarist Mario Quintero Lara, vocalist/accordionist Joel Higuera, bassist Mario Moreno, and drummer David Servin. Their songs include ballads and dance tracks marked by double-entendres and lyrical stories that represent the realities of life for many Latinos, making them a favorite with ticket buyers. Los Tucanes de Tijuana have received several awards from the Billboard Mexican Music Awards, BMI Awards, and were featured in 2010 in the first-ever Spanish-only program at the Grammy Museum.

    Great concert!!! Only wish they could have played for a while longer. They always sound so great just like on their CD’s or as if your listening on the radio. Would definitely attend another concert!!!!

    First time at this venue and it brings back memories of the old one at downtown Disney. Except this one felt like there were more bars and much bigger atmosphere. One thing I didn't really like were some of the bartenders attitudes but besides that, excellent work house of blues!

    The performers were amazing and the quality of the singers was great. We parked at the high school near the forum and took a shuttle to the forum. It was so much more convenient than parking at the structure, having to deal with traffic, possible drunks walking in the parking lot and it was about half the price of the parking at the forum. I would recommend taking that alternative, if offered. The view was ok, but I would wish they would have tilted the screens a bit more to face the audience. The sound was ok, but the singers sounded a bit muffled at times, but they were the cheapest tickets.Other than that, it was a good show.

    LOs tucanes were awesome I had never seen them in person and they did not disappoint. The show was a real show not just a concert. The Forum was good but they could have used better drinks mixed and beers.

    I loved my seats, row 1 in section 225, seats 1&2, and the music was awesome, only thing I was let down on was tucanes playing tres animales, they didn't.

    As this was my first concert with my family, I was extremely excited to enjoy a night of great acts alongside them. As the night moved along, the experience became increasingly amazing and culminated with the legend - Ramon Ayala.
