LOS LONELY BOYS IN CONCERT:
Chicano rock favorites Los Lonely Boys are known for their signature "Texican Rock n' Roll," a unique style that combines rock, Texas blues, and Tejano. Approaching two decades together, the Boys are nothing if not seasoned performers, and fans can expect to see a rip-roaring display of musicianship from the tireless trio at their live shows. With their eighth album hot off the presses, Los Lonely Boys will hit the stage hotter than a ball of Texas fire on their 2014 tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Comprised of Texan brothers Henry, Jojo, and Ringo Garza, Los Lonely Boys self-released several records in Nashville in the '90s before moving back to their home state with the hope of finding a more appreciative audience. The move proved fruitful — under the tutelage of Willie Nelson, the trio's self-titled third album peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums Chart, going on to receive double platinum certification from the RIAA. Since then, they’ve become key players in the Texas music scene, releasing a string of successful records including the Grammy-winning hit single "Heaven" and Grammy-nominated songs "More than Love" and "Onda."

It was an amazing lineup for MexTex and MexRock! I've seen Los Lobos many times and they keep getting better. As for Los Lonely Boys, they have unbelieveable talent. Tequila for everyone! First time to Viejas Concerts in the Park, and will go back again. However, clear signs say no photos, but everyone was taking video and photos - it was irritating! Viejas should enforce the rules or not.
From the beginning of the show the Boys came out with energy that lasted through the entire show. Henry's guitar rifs are fantastic and their on stage personalities are endearing. The Los Lonely Boys have a great sound and so many terrific songs. They open their show thanking the Lord and you can tell from the joy they express they are doing what they're are meant to be doing. This is our second time seeing them at this venue and we really looked forward to the show and enjoyed every minute of it. We like this venue because the parking is easy and it offers the shopping of the outlet as well as several dining choices all in walking distance to the concert. Los Lobos started the show off with their fun songs and the crowd was in a party mood dancing to a lot of their songs. I left the concert with a big smile on my face anticipating their next visit to San Diego.
From the sandy beach to the private cabanas, Los Lonely Boys was more than I hoped for. It was awesome, the wind, the music, and the masses that were having as much fun as I was. What a great night. Will be traveling to do it again. Loved the Poolside Event, REEALLY loved LLB's Lake Powell
As the rest of the crowd sat, (still scratching my head over that one) a group of us danced on the sidelines. The music was awesome! Both bands are so talented and each year I come to hear them play, I am never disappointed. I left feeling energized and anticipating their next visit to Viejas casino. OUTSTANDING performances by LOS LOBOS and LOS LONELY BOYS!
These guys put on one of the best shows I have ever seen. They are musically gifted, and thoroughly enjoy playing with each other and entertaining the audience....their energy and talent shine to connect with and lift the spirits of everyone attending.
First time seeing Los Lonely Boys and I hope not the last.Cool party poolside at the Hard Rock Las Vegas and as an extra added bonus Los Lobos opened the show with a great set of music.
These guys are great muscians! I was so impressed. They were better live than on their CD's.
Los Lonely Boys weren't lonely Friday night as they rocked out the Emerald Queen. They played some serious guitar & bass, as well as awesome drums. The Garza Brothers really know how to bring down the house. The audience danced and sung along to the new album and many previous hits. The hour & a half show was way too short for us loving fans, who could have listened and rocked out for another hour and a half. Los Lonely Boys were very down home and continually thanked all of us for being their biggest support. I would LOVE to thank them for an outstanding and amazing concert. "THANK YA'LL for your amazing music & your FAMILIAS for sharing their talent. Their CD's don't do their skills justice, because in person, THEY ARE AMAZING!!!! ( as well as gorgeous!)

THE WHOLE SHOW WAS UNBELEIVEABLE. FROM THE DOUBLE PLAYING OF THE LEAD GUTIAR TO THE SURPRISE GUESS OF LEE OSCAR AND THE BATTLE OF THE HARMONICA. JUST WISHED IT COULD HAVE LASTED A LITTLE LONGER . I ENJOY THE CONCERTS AT THE QUEEN I COME ALL THE TIME.
These guys consistently blow my mind. Their musicianship is amazing. They even inject some humor into the show as well. I was very impressed with this performance but all three times I have seen them is unforgettable.
The show was O.K. but it was really short , ( 1 hour and 30 min. ) and they only plaid two of their older songs ( More than love , and Heaven ). I was really disappointed that they didn't play more songs off their first album . It seemed like as soon as everyone was getting into the show it was over . I personally would have rather them play more songs , than play a 20 min. duet with a harmonica player , I never heard of . I really like Los Lonely Boys , but they should remember why people are paying $50.00 a seat in a hall with horrible seating , in a down economy .Thats to be entertained , by them , playing the music that made them famous .
This concert was amazing. To be honest I went because my wife wanted to go and was blown away by their musicianship. I would recommend this concert to anyone…
If you do not see them in person you will miss how really talented these brothers are!
Had no thoughts that their concert was going to be anything but fantastic...And, it was! They just got better and better with each song and so many standing ovations!! People from all walks of life just love them as well as myself; and, their talent is incredible. The minute they come on stage... Time ceases' and when they are done you find yourself screaming for one more song...

The group is tight, and each of brothers contribute to the show. Even the more unplanned for events (although I think they maybe common, such as Ringo having to get drum skin replacements during the set) were dealt with in a smooth, fun way for the audience. The set was well mixed with material.
They were simply great. Three brothers that can make that much music is amazing. I thought they were good before I saw them in person, but they are even better than I thought. What you hear on their CD's is exactly what you will hear in concert. Their music is clean and uncolored by studio magic including their vocals. The same clean, clear, mellow sound. Lead guitar is fantastic and he played 200 percent the whole show. He never layed back. And the bass and drums are simply kick'n, gettin down and funky. I love the vocal sound of the 3 brothers, just an awesome sound. They kept my wife and I on the edge of our seats the whole time. I have been to other concerts and sometimes tend to get tired, but not this one, they kept the place rock' n, never a dull moment. Easily worth every penny. They gave me the impression of 3 down to earth musicians who really love what they do and appreciate those who support them. We had $25. seats (that was all that was left other than some $150. - $160 seats) and didn't miss a thing. Big screens were a definite plus. The venue left something to be desired, the seating was cramped and on the level no rise to make it easier to see. It's obvious the Emerald Queen Casino is packing them in for the buck. But that takes nothing away from this fantastic group. I would go see them again in a heartbeat. If you have even considered seeing them, do it, you will not regret it. Los Lonely Boys rock!
Great Concert only wish it was longer! And only one encore song! : ( Great venue though not a bad seat in the house! The boys are very talented musicians! Loved the duel guitar playing! They are amazing!
