Great venue. Band was great live. First opportunity to see and wasn't disappointed. Great solos by all members.

  • living colour as good as ever

by harwags on 4/20/13The Paramount - HuntingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The show was great. They were loud and on target for all their songs and solo's. My only compliaint is that they had to have 2 poor opening bands and the show did not end till close to midnight on a weekday. They should look into that being part of the reason the crowd was sparse and many people left around 11pm.

  • Living Color was off-da- chain!!'

It's 6:54a.m., two days after the concert...I'm listening to the "VIVID" album on my I-pod!!! The party hasn't stopped yet...nuff said!!!!

  • Happy 25TH Rock On !!!

by Stennox on 4/19/13Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

Was an amazing show. I have seen these guys at least a dozen times over the years and they never dissapoint. I just wish they would pick a better venue then the Paradise. The sound sucks unless your standing face to face with the singer. Even worse upstairs. And there is nowhere to park at all. Other than that, if you like these guys tunes you have to see them live. Only reason for 4 stars is the venue.

  • Living Colour is my favorite color

by Suebang on 4/16/13Keswick Theatre - GlensideRating: 5 out of 5

Show was excellent and they lived up to their reputation! Just sorry ir wasn't full but their loss. Crowd was touched by the performance. Can't wait foe them to come my way soon, I saw the show twice and enjoyed both. If you haven't seen this band live - then do some

  • Living Colour rocks better than ever!

by Suebang on 4/16/13Irving Plaza powered by Klipsch - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

It was wonderful to go back to Iriving Plaza as I have doneso many times over 25 years to support one of the greatest musical bands in history. The crowd was just as hype as 25 years ago. The band was better than ever and the tributes to Muzz Skillings and Sugar Hill Records was a true hometown moment. Living Colour is no where near done - I can't wait for the 50th Anniversary of "Vivid"!

  • Could have sworn it was 1988!

by Wwwrrty on 4/11/13Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Living Colour was absolutely incredible!!! They sounded SO good and the electricity in the building was undeniable.... It was 1988 all over again... And I mean that in a good way! Getting a chance to meet the band after the show was certainly an unforeseen bonus too!

  • rockin'!

by julianpa on 4/8/13Keswick Theatre - GlensideRating: 5 out of 5

The guys put on a show like it was 1987! "vivid" track by track, with a little "amazing grace" thrown in for a breather. The audience was into it, standing and singing along for 2 full hours, and the band responded. Corey glover can still wail , and Vernon Reid was shredding the while time.

  • Rocked 'Til We Dropped!

    by CSA1259 on 4/8/13Keswick Theatre - GlensideRating: 5 out of 5

Living Colour is without a doubt one of the best bands, especially live, that have ever set foot on a stage! They rocked an unfortunately not sold out Keswick Theater like I have never seen or heard. They are so tight instrumentally and vocally that if you closed your eyes you would think you were listening to a CD instead of a live performance.Along this line they put just enough variation into each song so you know it's live but still remains true to the original.Awesome act that I feel truly fortunate to have seen and heard.I think they should set precedent and do a 25th Anniversary tour for each of their excellent albums! That would be some concerts I would surely not miss.LC4L!!

  • Did not miss a beat

by Anonymous on 4/8/13Keswick Theatre - GlensideRating: 5 out of 5

Living Colour was as great today as they were 25 years ago! It was a fairly priced event with an outstanding outcome! This was probably one of the best concerts I've ever seen.

  • LC @ Irving Plaza - Totally Worth the Trip

by Anonymous on 4/8/13Irving Plaza powered by Klipsch - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

LC show was on 11 from the start. First time I ever saw them live; geeze what was I waiting for !?!?. Cameo appearance by Sugar Hill Gang was a treat. Will is a powerful drummer, has some serious chops; Vernon and Doug killed! Corey Glover playing the role of "Spiderman" at the end of the show was a little freaky; very cool way to show fan appreciation though. See you at the next one boys.

  • Great Show

    by ChrisJ123456 on 4/8/13Keswick Theatre - GlensideRating: 5 out of 5

Living Colour put on a great show! Glover's voice was great, Reid ripped the guitar, and the rhythm section was right on.

  • Pretty cool

by ldelca on 4/7/13Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

First time seeing them live and couldn't ask for a better venue, small and intimate where you can really enjoy the show, I wished the'd played "Elvis is Dead"

  • by 4kansas on 4/7/13Keswick Theatre - GlensideRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show by four awesome musicians! A MUST SEE for Living Colour fans!! All four members spent a long time after the show talking with their fans in the lobby. Great guys!!

  • More than a one hit wonder!

    by telostrat0 on 4/7/13Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Seeing Living Colour Friday night was incredible. They played for almost two hours straight at an sold out Paradise Rock Club. Unlike their counterparts from the 80's there were no breaks and no power ballads this is a band that is still on top. They played the entire Vivid album plus a healthy dose of Stain and Time's up. Living Colour may only put out three albums in their hey day but they made them count. If you get a chance to see them don't pass it up.
