Great location and great band which includes the opening act
The show was great and the band members are so very nice!
Awesome show and venue!! Will definitely go again :)
This was the second time we saw Live Wire, and the concert was awesome. Penn's Peak is a great place to watch any concerts. I would highly recommend Penn's Peak and/or Live Wire.
Live Wire is GREAT, and Penn's Peak is an excellent venue for concerts. I have seen Live Wire there a few times before, and have always come home totally satisfied. However, this time I was disappointed. There was a problem with the sound system. Whoever was controlling the sound for this particular night had it all wrong. The lead guitar and drums were set at the proper levels, but the bass was too loud, the rythm guitar was so low it could almost not be heard, and the microphones were squeaking. Also there seemed to be a strange delay so the outputs were out of sync and partially off key. It was very disappointing for this event. Hopefully someone will take care of this so it doesn't happen again. I brought my wife along to the concert for the first time, and she kept saying it doesn't sound right. All I could say was 'you should have heard them last time". That is not good.
This has to be the next best thing to AC/DC. The lead singer and lead guitar player were both tremendous. I will definitely be going to see the show again.
Three full hours of pure AC DC! Completely loved the show!!! So did my 7 & 9 year old nephews. It was their very first concert and to our surprise, we met the singer during breakfast the next morning in our hotel. What an unforgettable experience!!!
I have seen Live Wire three times and they do in fact sound very good. They put on a long show, and have a great energy on stage as well. What I do not like about them is how accurate they are to the recordings of AC/DC. The drummer, singer, and bassist were great but the rhythm and lead guitarist were not as accurate. The solos were not played the same as Angus' and you were able to tell, along with some of the rhythm guitar parts.
This was one of the coolest venues to see a show, my first time there. Both "Beautifu Day" and "Live Wire" did great jobs giving the audience an accurate reenactment of the bands they're portraying. Great show!
Live Wire is the closest thing your gonna get to AC/DC!! They sounded amazing. I got my AC/DC fix...the next best thing to seeing the real thing. Penns Peak is an awesome venue to see them or anyone for that matter!!!!
