Linda Éder is one of the best singers of all times
Great show and after meet & greet. The venue was too cold for older patrions
Linda’s voice is absolutely incredible. I am always in awe when I have the chance to see and hear her. My wife and I flew from Austin to NJ for her latest concert and she was wonderful. Not only is she one of the most talented singers in our lifetime, but a great person as well. We are looking forward to her return to Texas in the future.
First time we saw her in concert and there was not one disappointment. Great show from start to finish. Hope she comes back to the Boston Area soon. Also. Wilbur theater great Venue.
I am just in awe of her voice- Her range is amazing. I love her song choices and the fact that she interacts with the audience. I wish she would come back to Buffalo.
Her voice is still so good! Great band and really good song selection from her 25yr career. She added songs from her Judy Garland album which was nice to hear all these years ago! Can’t wait to see her again.
I have seen Linda Eder numerous times. The experience at the Wilber was really nice. She is personable and inviting. The only drawback can be if you are in the table sections it is very crowded. But my husband and I started chatting with the folks around us and we instantly shared stories of seeing Linda numerous times. We were all in a celebratory mood. Wilber staff and waitress were friendly and attentive.
Linda was amazing. She has the voice of an angel and again her show did not disappoint!!!
I first heard of Linda Eder in the mid-nineties. I fell in love with the song, "Someone Like You," from the "Jekyll & Hyde" musical. The lyrics of that song penetrates my soul and brings me to tears every time I hear it BUT only when sung by Linda. She 'makes love' to every lyric sung in that song. She basically becomes the character in the song. This particular venue, at the Wilbur, was spectacular from the moment she walked on to the stage. I went to this concert with a dear friend who knew I loved Linda's voice and talent. I am recently mourning a death of a close friend and needed a dose of 'Linda therapy." When she sang "Bring him Home" I couldn't stop weeping as I was thinking of my deceased friend. She sang it with such strong conviction as she preceded her performance with the death of the Queen of England (who died on the same day as my dear friend). I brought with me, a portrait of Linda, that I painted which was on the table (in the front row). She was curious about what was on the table (I was sitting in the front row) and interrupted her performance and asked what was on the table. I told her that I painted her and was fortunate enough to give it to her during the concert. I felt so special, especially on the heels of my friends passing, I needed a "pick me up" and this was it. She connects so well with her audience, or I should say, her friends, as most of the audience knew all about her and her horse. She is a true performer and lacks any resemblance to a DIVA. She "hit it out of the park" when she closed with "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." She truly becomes one with every song she sings. The only disappointment was that he wasn't a SELL OUT. There were a lot of empty seats. She is one of the most underrated performers on the planet. The band was superb as well. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and hope she comes back to the Wilbur soon.
Linda Eder was absolutely flawless!!!! Her vocal control is unbelievable. She sang standards, broadway, country and closed the show with stunning rendition of Over The Rainbow! Her repertoire included the best of Judy Garland and of course Jekyll and Hyde.
I got tickets to surprise my mom for her 80th birthday! She had seen her this year at the Cape and loved her. I thought she was absolutely amazing and my mom was super thrilled and loved her birthday surprise!!❤️
We bought tickets months ago. We were right up front. She was truly amazing. I have seen her about 8 times. She just gets better every time.
Linda Eder is one of the best singers and song stylists of our time but she is also funny and a wonderful story teller. This concert (with a band led by the amazing Billy Stritch) was in large part a tribute to the great Judy Garland.. Thankfully, she also sang my favorite of her songs-Don Quixote. Just a fantastic night with the extraordinarily talented Linda Eder.
Venue is very old😥😥😥But, Staff we’re outstanding!!!!
Her voice is stunning. Her repertoire is varied. Where the performance falls short is in the balance of sound. Her backup was way too loud to enjoy the beauty of her voice. I was distracted by the overwhelming piano accompaniment, and bass (which often sounded like a foghorn because the sound was so unbalanced). In short... sound board and better production definitely a must. The venue is small. Why was any amplification needed? She could carry the evening just with the strength of her vocal chords.
Truly a very enjoyable two hours with Linda Eder. Although I have wanted to see her for several years, this was the first time I was able to experience her in person. What an amazing voice! She was very welcoming & entertaining. Actually felt like I knew her after the show. The sound mixing was a bit off, the instrumentals tended to drown he out. Look forward to seeing her again.
OF what we could hear of Linda, she was in great voice. However the soundboard mixing for the event was often so heavy on the accompanist and the band that Linda was hard to hear. This was apparent early but never fixed during the show.
Venue easily accessed. Definitely an audience of retirees. Amplification overall was not as good as in prior concerts. Piano was too loud on too many numbers. Linda Eder's microphone did not evenly produce a clear sound needed to display her performance. Instrumentalists were superb.
Linda Eder’s voice is exquisite! She hits all of the notes perfectly. Her song choices are suited to her Broadway voice. Unfortunately, her backup band (piano, drums, bass, trombone) were so loud as to drown out the beauty of Linda’s voice. It was disappointing to have a concert basically ruined unnecessarily.
-Wonderful venue that I had never been to before! Linda Eder was fantastic and I’d love to see her as much as I could with that angelic voice❤️ I’ve been a fan of hers for many years
