LILY ALLEN IN CONCERT:
Pop chanteuse and controversy queen Lily Allen has been stirring the pot ever since her debut single "Smile" topped British charts in 2006. While she may have matured as a songwriter, her stunning soulful voice hasn't changed a lick and neither has her risqué attitude -- after a several year hiatus, Allen made a triumphant return to the charts in 2013 with "Hard out Here," a no-punches-pulled critique of the cutthroat world of pop stardom. Equal parts flirty and brash, the provocative Allen will treat ticket buyers to classics like "F*ck You" alongside newer hits like "Air Balloon" on her latest tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
London-born Lily Allen got an early start in show business, landing several acting roles in childhood thanks to her actor father and producer mother. After a tumultuous youth that saw her attend 13 different schools -- several of which expelled her for smoking and drinking -- Allen was overheard one day singing Oasis's "Wonderwall" by budding soprano Rachel Santesso, who quickly took Allen under her wing for vocal lessons. In 2005 she signed to Regal Recordings, but due to budgetary constraints she was left to promote her music via Myspace, where early singles like "Smile" and "Alfie" attracted hundreds of thousands of fans. By the time her debut album Alright, Still was released the following year she already had a substantial following, paving the way for the album's quick rise to No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart. Her next two albums, 2009's It's Not Me, It's You and 2014's Sheezus, both skyrocketed to No. 1 on the British charts, cementing her role as a dominant force in English pop music and paving the way for continued touring.

Super concert, a bit short though Airco too cold....
It was amazing. Although the place it was held at I was not to fond of. People kept walking back and forth, but the concert was great !
Literally perfect show by Lily although there were times the sound seems to balk.
We were in a short vacation trip to NY, and saw Lily presenting in Terminal 5 close to our hotel... I was "we should go!!!l" It was perfect! Cheers from Panamá.... David!
Lily is becoming more & more pop....but still a good singer.
I'm such a fan for life... I used to like Lily Allen, now I LOVE Lily Allen. The lights, the set, the band, the dancers... That cute lil' British accent when she spoke... She's funny, awesome and amazingly talented... My only complain was with the crowd... People started leaving right after the set and before the encore!!!... I know for a fact that she would've come back for an encore maybe two... The crowd was feeling it!... I was DEFINITELY feeling it!!!... Even the opening act Lolawolf was ridiculously awesome!
I bought a ticket to this show because I was stressed one day and I buy tickets to shows when I'm stressed. I have wanted to see Lily since her first album, but by the time the day of the show came around I wasn't completely sure that I wanted to go. I am so fucking glad that I did. Lily was absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend this show.
Lily Allen flirted with the crowd as she sang with her incredible voice.. played some of her new album but also her best hits... perfectly ..
great show from lily allen, long waiting period though between the opening act and hers.
Took my fiancé to see Lilly. She had seen her once before.... Was my first time. Had a blast, cool crowd, great opening act, Lola was awesome. Once Lilly hit the stage, it was onnnnn,.She had great style, charisma, incredible stage presence and quite frankly was adorable. Seems like a real down to earth individual who we both would love to have a drink with.
Lola wolf was an inspiration. Lily had some powerful highlights but needs to find herself again in vocal style and music.
I've been a huge Lily Allen fan since she came out... I was so excited to see this show but I was really let down. It just didn't feel like she was into it or excited. Seemed like work for her. I still like her music but I don't know if I'll go see her live again.
Doors opened at 7, cover did not start till about 8:15, played for about 30 minutes. Lily did not perform till about 9:30-there was a lot of time spent simply waiting and it was not worth it for the performance. The waiting bordered on diva behavior from the performers and it was not worth the wait.
Love Lily and her really casual stage presence. Super fun and chill. Too bad the crowd was so boring though! Everyone cleared out immediately so the stragglers like me didn't get an encore.
If you like Lily Allen I would highly recommend you see her live. She is engaging, her stage sets were great, the band and dancers were good, and over all just a great show.
Lily's amazing but we couldn't see her! The venue is just awful.
Lily really was awesome! She mixed older hits with new. Loved it!
Great show, But the baby bottles have got to go from front of the stage. And way toooooooooooo much with the FOG machines at times Lily disappeared. My second time seeing Lily Like the first time @ the Highland ball room.
This was my 3rd time seeing Lily Allen, so I kind of new what to expect. She came out at 9.15, at the exact time when she was supposed to, and the whole show lasted an hour and a half. She sang songs from all 3 albums, as well as 2 covers "The Worst" (by Jhene Aiko) and "Or Nah" (by The Weeknd), and also Bass like home which she released a couple of months ago. The show was sold out, and the venue was packed. There were all sorts of people, some of them had seen her before and some did not know any of the songs, but everyone had a great time!
