Lil Tjay on Tour
New York's Lil Tjay is a rapper-singer with street-level lyrics but pop star energy. Naturally, his live shows have no shortage of hand-waving, crowd singalongs, and a cappella breaks that highlight the depth and intricacy of his bars. Though his lyrics can be intense and personal, Lil Tjay's live shows explode with moments of shirtlessness and water-throwing. Hits like "Leaked," "Brothers" and the Top 20 smash "Pop Out" with Polo G have rocketed Tjay to multiple editions of the Rolling Loud Festival. His No Escape tour took him across America in 2019, and was followed by the True 2 Myself tour in 2020.
Lil Tjay in Concert
Bronx rapper Lil Tjay has racked up millions of streams for his seamless mixture of melodic inflection and intricate rhyming. His style has enough room for giddy pop and somber reflection, infectious songcraft and harsh realities. In turn, Tjay landed multiple songs on the Hot 100 before he left his teens. The artist born Tione Jayden Merritt emerged from hip-hop's place of origin, the South Bronx, absorbing the Michael Jackson, R. Kelly and Usher songs played by his mother. Further inspired by the raps of Drake, Rick Ross and Meek Mill, he started uploading music to SoundCloud in 2017: He was a sensation within his first year with songs about street life and the motivation to escape it. He promptly signed to Columbia Records, which released his No Comparison EP at the end of 2018 and his F.N EP in the summer of 2019. In that time, Tjay appeared on Polo G's breakout "Pop Out," which hit No. 11 on the pop charts, and collaborated with French Montana, Tory Lanez, Blueface and more. In 2019, Tjay released his debut album, True 2 Myself, which debuted in the Top 5 and features appearances by Lil Wayne, Lil Baby, Lil Durk and more.

110 percent worth the money! I’m already a fan of the album but the show made it that much better. Filmore is also one of my favorite venues
Although the event was sold out you still had a good amount of space to roam around. It was my first concert with my son and glad we went. Lil Tjay’s performance was amazing! Keep it up!
For an All Ages Show on a Wednesday school night... My 12 year old was extremely disappointed that TJay didn’t even come on stage until 10pm (we waited 3hrs to see him).. We ended up leaving after Just two of his songs due to the time. This shouldn’t had been advertised as an ‘all ages show’ if he wasn’t going on until 10pm! And I paid 125 for the meet and great- that we didn’t even bother to stay for!!!
We started standing in line around 6:30 although the start time was listed to be 7:00. The line was already super long and around the block, which was not unexpected. We however waited nearly an hour in the cold to be let in the venue. We then waited another two hours for the opener, who was Mulatto. Lil Tjay did not come on until 10, and even then he was on for around an hour. It was fun while he was on, he had a lot of energy and it was fun and hype. However we were waiting for way too long. The security also made us back up and then they placed a bunch of twelve year olds where we had been standing :/
Amazing show one of the best concerts I’ve been to. So much energy.
We waited outside, in the freezing cold for 2 hours, only to be let in to watch random rappers perform (I was literally yawning) until 10:15pm when Lil Tjay finally came out. I know that at concerts, performers will usually come out after some time, but 2+ hours seemed like way too long... especially considering that he only performed for *maybe* 40 minutes. We all couldn’t believe that we waited outside for 2 hours, freezing our butts off for a 40 minute performance! Never experienced that before. Will not be attending his concerts anymore
There’s too much too go through but great experience !!!!
Went to his concert and the concert said online it was 5-9 but on another site said 6-10 so we showed up around 4:30-5. We walked into the building and a bunch of smaller rappers preformed. It was about 8:30 and the concert was ending at 9 and he still didn’t come out. Finally at 8:50 he preformed for 10 minutes then left the venue. Worst experience. Do not recommend
We got there at 7 because we wanted to be early and the concert started at 8. So many small sound cloud rappers came out and Tjay didn’t come on stage until 9:40. It was so fun when he was out, but then he left before 10:30. It felt a little like a rip off. Still lots of fun though.
Waited for two and a half hours while we listened to DJs and some performers most of whom jumped around a lot and sang over tracks. Was like a SNL skit. No idea if he ever even came on because at 10:30 (show was supposed to start at 8) we left.
he showed up late and barely stayed on stage so it was kinda boring.
I love lil tjay but he was an hour late coming out on stage then played for 30 mins. that’s all i was pissed.
This was my first ever concert and I was slightly disappointed. The show itself was pretty good, and it was of course cool to see one of my favorite artists in person but in all honesty it was kind of disappointing. The show was supposed to start at 8 and instead started at about 8:50 and then proceeded to end quickly at 9:30. I was highly disappointed as I had spent 65$ on tickets for an experience and did not believe Id recieved the full one. Also I was made to believe purchasing the vip package would have granted me some sort of bonus benefits when in reality it was pointless and just caused me to spend more money than I had. Other than that the concert itself was not bad.
Performed all the hits! Pure fye! I wish it lasted longer!
I loved it. It was my first rap concert and i’m so glad that I went. I was in the front and the view was insane. The special guests were cool and enthusiastic. Lil Tjay was such an amazing performer and may be my favorite artist right now.
Was a fun concert however he only performed for 45 minutes which wasn’t worth my ticket price.
