About

Lil Tecca in Concert

During his high-energy live shows, Lil Tecca's slick songs turn into incredible, full-on shout-alongs. The rapper's career exploded quickly and loudly with the success of his viral internet hit "Ransom," which he uploaded shortly after playing his first live show ever in May 2019 at New York hip-hop institution S.O.B.'s. In subsequent months, Tecca brought his show to the Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash in Chicago and Made in America in Philadelphia. By late 2019, he was booked for headlining shows across America and Europe, concluding with an appearance at Rolling Loud.

Lil Tecca on Tour

The rise of New York rapper Lil Tecca has been nothing short of meteoric. He independently released his breakout hit "Ransom" in May of 2019 at just 16 years old, which hit the Billboard Top 10 by October. The MC born Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe's inauspicious beginnings as a wordsmith began while dissing his friends over Xbox Live. Deciding to take his friendly beefs offline, he turned his energy into a song using his sister's laptop. Inspired by the melodic raps of Speaker Knockerz, the drill of Chief Keef and the Jamaican music he heard growing up, Sharpe was soon creating music and releasing it to Instagram and SoundCloud under the name "Lil Tecca" (a tweak on his Instagram handle). His incredible success began when visionary hip-hop director Cole Bennett uploaded the quirky, cartoonish video for "Ransom," and within weeks, Tecca was storming the charts. Beyond the joyous energy of "Ransom," part of Tecca's immediate appeal is the everydude swagger of a teenager just being himself: Braces, glasses, stylish but not materialistic, funny on social media. Led by "Ransom," Tecca's debut mixtape, We Love You Tecca, appeared in August, bolstered by an appearance from Juice WRLD and production from hitmakers like Pi'erre Bourne and Young Kio.

    Tecca’s Beginning

by Hunt on 4/2/22Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

Tecca gave the audience what they were looking for. The audience was engaged with the artist. And he ended with the best song Ransom!

    Impressed

I’m 43 years old but I’m a lover of good music and good vibes and I go where the universe takes me. I won tickets from SiriusXM and was nervously excited to support a young talented person. I couldn’t believe how safe and respectful we all were to each other. It was way better than the energy I feel at concerts with people much older and I thank Lil Tecca for creating that space and bringing us together to experience that thru his music. Lil Tecca light show the great music his energy you can tell he does love us and him connecting with the city of Atl bringing on local loved rappers. I could just go on. I’m so sorry if you missed that first show of the tour don’t make that mistake again. Go get a ticket and support!

His openers were garbage, Tecca was high energy and played a good mix of new and old songs.

    hes good

    by A. D. on 11/25/21

I was at Pepsi Jingle Bash 2019 to see other artists but he was also on the lineup. I didn't know any of the songs he performed except the last one which I did like. I give him props for rapping completely live. He sounded really good he just looked a little awkward on stage from just walking & jumping around like most rappers usually do. He didn't have much to work with since it was just him on stage. A lot of the people around me seemed to enjoy his performance though.

    So Lit

by Leveon on 12/29/19The Paramount - Huntington

Tecca was amazing! I loved how there was no garbage openers and it was just a dj before Tecca came on. My only problem was that Tecca was on for maybe 45 minutes but when he was on it was so much fun and would definitely go again if the price is good.

    Nothing better than Ticketmaster!

    by N. S. on 12/23/19The Paramount - Huntington

My mobile ticket loaded quickly on the Ticketmaster app as I entered the venue. It scanned smoothly without any problems. I highly recommend purchasing any tickets through the highly efficient Ticketmaster app!

it was really fun but if lil tecca did more songs or something like that to make it longer it would’ve been a bit better. good show overall

    Not happy

    by S. A. on 12/23/19The Paramount - Huntington

We WAY overpaid for tickets for a show that lasted 45 min!!!! He sang less then half his songs, no opening act but a DJ. There’s NO parking in Huntington but miles away. Not happy at all.

    Good experience

by N. J. on 11/12/19The Fillmore Silver Spring presented by Cricket Wireless - Silver Spring

I would give it a 3.5, there were way too many little kids, I think an age limit needs to be set better. The openings for Tecca were okay, a little overboard. Tecca’s part was cool and fun, could be longer but there aren’t a TON of songs so I understand. It was decent though.

    Unsafe and couldn’t hear artists

by M. S. on 11/12/19The Fillmore Silver Spring presented by Cricket Wireless - Silver Spring

The middle of the crowd was swaying and several times a bunch of us were pushed down. There was a real danger of people being trampled. Also, the vocals were too quiet.

    Crowded, annoyed, and squished

by 🤩🤩🤩 on 11/12/19The Fillmore Silver Spring presented by Cricket Wireless - Silver Spring

I was squished and hot the whole time and to make matters even worse, tickets said Pierre Bourne was opening, and he never came out. Then Tecca was only on for 20 mins at most and ended the concert at 10:00 PM. Everyone was scrambling to find rides and how to get home, while standing outside in the freezing cold.
